Let's do the time warp again*!

Welcome to our [url=http://www.gog.com]DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for a fascinating ride to the early days of PC gaming and back again, with 30 excellent titles selected from the years 1983-2013, available up to 90% off (that is for as little as $0.59!). You'll find amazing games in amazing prices featured one by one on GOG.com main page, and before the sale is done you'll be able to complete your very own display of gaming history on a budget below $65 (because this would be the cost to get every single game in the sale). Are you ready?

There's more than just buying games incredibly cheap to our DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! We're ready to pass its steering wheel (or rather the control console) to YOU. Each game in the sale is offered for a limited time only, and how long we stay in its year is up to you! Each time you see a new game on sale you can vote to either add or subtract 1 second from the timer. Each time you buy a game, you add 3 seconds to the time of it being on sale. We begin with 1983's Zork, bundled with the rest of the Zork Anthology of 6 games in total, for only $1.79. How long will it last on the front page? You'll be the judge. What comes next, as the game of 1984? Let's find out!

Let's take a trip in GOG.com's DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! 30 great games from 1983-2013 will be available up to 90% off, and you get to decide how long each game is on sale. Ready? The technomagical gateway to 1983 opens NOW!

* "Again?", you might ask, "when did they ever do the time warp?". Well, once you embark on a journey through time, all becomes relevant and there's absolutely no guarantee that what you are doing, you are doing for the first time. In fact, that's highly improbable. After all, time isn't linear. It's more like a giant wobbly-bobbly goggy-boggy ball of gaming awesome!

zepolleon: One could hope for a great surprise!

stg83: Yes but the Time Machine is only designed to travel back and forth between 1983 and 2013, all the while keaning a little longer in certain years compared to others. :P
[s]A time machine can move time forward, right? :D[/s]
Ignore, I didn't read.

What good is a time machine if you can't travel to the future?:D
I'd have picked up Thief 3 but I'm thinking it happened whilst I slept. I keep missing that one EVERY sale.
2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 so what GOG games are going to be in sales hmmm?

Any predictable games?

zepolleon: Wouldn't it be awesome if the last sale item is all of a sudden, Witcher 3?
Nope, not awesome, not for me, no.
You see, I have a rule to never pre-purchase games in development. In fact, I rarely even buy them on the day they are released (two of the notable exceptions were Gothic 3 and Disciples 3... and let me tell you, those were not that good on day one).
So I'd really hate if i had to break a well-established "no pre-order" rule.
This show that the promo is working: It's bringing in new people who weren't here when it was free.
Wichern not interested as I already have it. But I'm surprised, that there is still somebody without:)

We're still expecting Unepic, Legend of Grimrock and Spelunky, based on the titles shown in the promotional e-mail.

Spelunky should either be the next one (it was originally released in 2009), or the last one (the re-release in 2013); Unepic and Grimrock are most likely going to be the 2011 and 2012 titles (respectively) based on their release dates (but nothing is guaranteed).

Judging from what leaked in the press: 2011: UnEpic, 2012: Legend of Grimrock, 2013: Spelunky. Only 2009 and 2010 are still a mystery.

EDIT: Damn, I'm too slow to compete with ninjas. :)

I bought it a long time ago. I remember it was $20 at 50% discount (leaving it ar $10) and I happened to have a $10 coupon as well. Best deal ever. XD
Dammit. People who are buying TW1 - why didn't you have it until now? You should've gotten it when it was free.
