Let's do the time warp again*!

Welcome to our [url=http://www.gog.com]DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for a fascinating ride to the early days of PC gaming and back again, with 30 excellent titles selected from the years 1983-2013, available up to 90% off (that is for as little as $0.59!). You'll find amazing games in amazing prices featured one by one on GOG.com main page, and before the sale is done you'll be able to complete your very own display of gaming history on a budget below $65 (because this would be the cost to get every single game in the sale). Are you ready?

There's more than just buying games incredibly cheap to our DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! We're ready to pass its steering wheel (or rather the control console) to YOU. Each game in the sale is offered for a limited time only, and how long we stay in its year is up to you! Each time you see a new game on sale you can vote to either add or subtract 1 second from the timer. Each time you buy a game, you add 3 seconds to the time of it being on sale. We begin with 1983's Zork, bundled with the rest of the Zork Anthology of 6 games in total, for only $1.79. How long will it last on the front page? You'll be the judge. What comes next, as the game of 1984? Let's find out!

Let's take a trip in GOG.com's DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! 30 great games from 1983-2013 will be available up to 90% off, and you get to decide how long each game is on sale. Ready? The technomagical gateway to 1983 opens NOW!

* "Again?", you might ask, "when did they ever do the time warp?". Well, once you embark on a journey through time, all becomes relevant and there's absolutely no guarantee that what you are doing, you are doing for the first time. In fact, that's highly improbable. After all, time isn't linear. It's more like a giant wobbly-bobbly goggy-boggy ball of gaming awesome!

BillyMaysFan59: Top 5 Bestsellers So Far: (from GOG front page)

#5 - Serious Sam: The First Encounter
#4 - Tomb Raider 1+2+3
#3 - SimCity 2000 SE
#2 - Might & Magic 6-pack Limited Edition
#1 - Deus Ex

Everyone loves Deus Ex.
Not everyone does. But they should.

That said, there's also people who don't like chocolate, too. But those people are probably not human beings anyway.

Corwim: Nope, missed it as well, darn need to sleep. :-) Would have gotten FlatOut too probably, but ah well, means there'll still be something left in the next big sale I guess. ;-)
Yeah, but not sure when we'll get another good sale on the Prince of Persia games again, this was the best price I have seen since I joined GOG. Oh well, no use crying over time period missed in this promo. :)
As I see, I've missed nothing since Gothic that would interest me ( and that I don't already have)
Serious Sam was a bestseller??? Serious, Sam? (cheap pun I know) ;P
Sam & Max is awesome stuff, have the Season One already as retail and in german, otherwise that would be a no-brainer to me.

gamefood: Serious Sam was a bestseller???
It was the cheapest game on sale, so of course it was a bestseller. ;)
All the games I want to buy are on sale when I am asleep or at work!

What kind of sale is it that they offer it at the worse possible time? Do you want me to buy or not?

The prices are good but This sale blows!

Never say never, I've been pleasantly surprised with the number of games that have been on sale since I joined, so they might come up again. *fingers crossed* :-)

Remember that this sale is >worldwide<, worst time for some is the best time for others.
And they are only games after all. ;)

Yep, hopefully the time machine is good to go for another round if its not all keaned out by then. :P
Damn it. Dozing off repeatedly is getting annoying. Need more caffeine. Pots and pots of caffeine. Only 12 to 13 more hours to go, roughly.

That's assuming they don't have another insanely popular sale like Deus Ex. It could go much further otherwise.
Wouldn't it be awesome if the last sale item is all of a sudden, Witcher 3?

It that happens again then you'd need a roofie instead of coffee. :P

This comment might get me flogged, but if we're going with awesome fantasy scenarios? I'd rather they pull Cyberpunk out of the ether. That's a game I'll happily upgrade gear for.
