Let's do the time warp again*!

Welcome to our [url=http://www.gog.com]DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for a fascinating ride to the early days of PC gaming and back again, with 30 excellent titles selected from the years 1983-2013, available up to 90% off (that is for as little as $0.59!). You'll find amazing games in amazing prices featured one by one on GOG.com main page, and before the sale is done you'll be able to complete your very own display of gaming history on a budget below $65 (because this would be the cost to get every single game in the sale). Are you ready?

<iframe width="590" height="322" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/6_uC01QztBg?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

There's more than just buying games incredibly cheap to our DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! We're ready to pass its steering wheel (or rather the control console) to YOU. Each game in the sale is offered for a limited time only, and how long we stay in its year is up to you! Each time you see a new game on sale you can vote to either add or subtract 1 second from the timer. Each time you buy a game, you add 3 seconds to the time of it being on sale. We begin with 1983's Zork, bundled with the rest of the Zork Anthology of 6 games in total, for only $1.79. How long will it last on the front page? You'll be the judge. What comes next, as the game of 1984? Let's find out!

Let's take a trip in GOG.com's DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! 30 great games from 1983-2013 will be available up to 90% off, and you get to decide how long each game is on sale. Ready? The technomagical gateway to 1983 opens NOW!

* "Again?", you might ask, "when did they ever do the time warp?". Well, once you embark on a journey through time, all becomes relevant and there's absolutely no guarantee that what you are doing, you are doing for the first time. In fact, that's highly improbable. After all, time isn't linear. It's more like a giant wobbly-bobbly goggy-boggy ball of gaming awesome!

HoMM 5 pissed me off with their abuse of the story with a plot development I won't mention here to avoid a spoiler.

I hate when game makers are arrogant and seemingly bad enough to do things like that.

Thank you for not spoiling it for me. I hate it when some arrogant jerk does that. Plus one for me, for that.

On other news, I bought Flatout cause a) cheap b)wanted a fun racing game. Hope it fulfills the second expectation.
Waiting and hoping for a Leusuire Suit Larry game to be on sale.. been looking for them as my own cd's dont work with win7...

groze: I hate to be "that guy", but could someone tell me what was the 2005 game?

Thank you! It's not that I have any money whatsoever to spend on games, right now (busy with bills and taxes, and I did went a bit over my head during the Winter sale), but I'm keeping my own list and I'm quite enjoying this video game journey down memory lane, nevertheless.

Second worst Heroes bundle on sale ? O.o The heck GoG, I thought you wanted epic classics on sale, not disrespectful failures of a franchise.

Oh come on it's not THAT bad... OF course is not Classic Heroes I-III(IV is bastard child for me) but V is imho second marrige children risen with love and care... VI is like big greedy uncle.

denuviel: Sure you do ;p If you are not a hardcore homm3 fan, you want homm5. For 5$, srsly.

JaqFrost: I haven't played any HoMM game, so I think my indecision lies in that I don't know what to expect from it.
Have you played KIng's Bounty? The whole HoMM series is actually, ahem, "inspired" by the original KB.

Did you include "Might and magic heroes 6: Thou shalt have no spells, only skills and four resources should be enough for everyone" in your rating? :-)

By now I don't feel ashamed of asking what the '01 game was. I was asleep when it was up.

I would say they "only" ripped orginal Kings Bounty spine, and add more parts to it...
So, now that I have HoMM III and V, I'm ok to go?
HoM&M 5 has pretty much everything HoM&M 3 had and more. I never really understood the dislike that the fans had for it other than that the original release was buggy, which it obviously no longer is. It's a good addition to the HoM&M series.

IMHO two best games at the series... III is masterpeace, and V is like rework III with new ideas(thats my opinion). You can think about try games I and II(first one mostly for laught, but still it,s playble). IV is... they tried something WAAAY diffirent, and if you will like it, or not depend at dedication to the series. VI multipler, buying stuff and resources with REAL MONEY... nope Scotty beam me up.

Heroes 6 is nothing, it doesn't exist in my universe. It's a disrespectful crap of a once wonderful franchise and I feel ashamed I have to live in the same country-city with the people who made that bastard unthinkable bile of a game.

The 2001 deal was Gothic.
