Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for a fascinating ride to the early days of PC gaming and back again, with 30 excellent titles selected from the years 1983-2013, available up to 90% off (that is for as little as $0.59!). You'll find amazing games in amazing prices featured one by one on GOG.com main page, and before the sale is done you'll be able to complete your very own display of gaming history on a budget below $65 (because this would be the cost to get every single game in the sale). There's more than just buying games incredibly cheap to our DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! We're ready to pass its steering wheel (or rather the control console) to YOU. Each game in the sale is offered for a limited time only, and how long we stay in its year is up to you! Each time you see a new game on sale you can vote to either add or subtract 1 second from the timer. Each time you buy a game, you add 3 seconds to the time of it being on sale. We begin with 1983's Zork, bundled with the rest of the Zork Anthology of 6 games in total, for only $1.79. How long will it last on the front page? You'll be the judge. What comes next, as the game of 1984? Let's find out!

Let's take a trip in GOG.com's DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! 30 great games from 1983-2013 will be available up to 90% off, and you get to decide how long each game is on sale. Ready? The technomagical gateway to 1983 opens NOW!

* "Again?", you might ask, "when did they ever do the time warp?". Well, once you embark on a journey through time, all becomes relevant and there's absolutely no guarantee that what you are doing, you are doing for the first time. In fact, that's highly improbable. After all, time isn't linear. It's more like a giant wobbly-bobbly goggy-boggy ball of gaming awesome!

ChiefOblivious: This is lame. I know GOG is great with old games, but after GMG's Thief pack for $4.74 (not including the 20% discount voucher) you'd think they'd offer a bit more competitive price. But just thief 3 for $2.50? Boooooooooooo!
Should have bought it over there then.
Thief 3 bought. A pity I missed Sim city and Gothic, some of the games from my ever smaller wish list.. Already bought the rest of the Gothic games from the Nordic games sale during the weekend :p

I did have a good laugh at the 6 hours for Deus Ex :D
Wait no Evil Genius? Darn
Too bad I missed Serious Sam and especially Gothic...
Anybody has got a spare copy that is interested in trading with the current game on sale or any follower?
CRAP! So I have to go to bed and will miss 2005 on. That sucks eggs. At least I got DX out of this fiasco. Sigh.
I wanted Heretic Kingdoms. Maybe 2005, they seem to be flexible on the release year.
I guess no Thief 2 in this sale....when is the next sale? :-)

JudasIscariot: Well, it was fun just walking about the city randomly pickpocketing people, breaking into houses, and just goofing off between missions. But they took away mah rope arrows! >:(
And don't forget "playing blackjack" with unwary guards during missions. And putting torches out with water arrows while singing "fear of the dark, fear of the dark, I have a constant fear that Garret's always near..."
Dash it, imma go dig up mah old trusty disc!
I don't know why everyone's complaining so much. If it means that much to you, you can just wait til the end and buy all thirty games for the same price as a single new console game. You can always trade or gift the ones you don't want.

Excuse me?
No encore in the end if that's what you meant.

Niggles: Question
What does 'in game soundtrack' mean?. Always wanted to ask that..its on SSFE game card as a bonus
avatar
vanchann: It's the tracks that play during the game.
As opposed to some games' soundtrack, consisted of various tracks which aren't included ingame.

Examples are myst games. Riven and Myst 3 soundtracks were sold as standalone.
Well i had to ask because how is an in-game soundtrack a bonus, when it actually comes as part of the game?.
Damn, I missed Gothic. Totally forgot about this sale today.

REDO GOTHIC, IT'S 2001 ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!

;[
Damn, missed Prince of Persia. Didn't think it would be gone so fast :(
