Let's do the time warp again*!

Welcome to our [url=http://www.gog.com]DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for a fascinating ride to the early days of PC gaming and back again, with 30 excellent titles selected from the years 1983-2013, available up to 90% off (that is for as little as $0.59!). You'll find amazing games in amazing prices featured one by one on GOG.com main page, and before the sale is done you'll be able to complete your very own display of gaming history on a budget below $65 (because this would be the cost to get every single game in the sale). Are you ready?

There's more than just buying games incredibly cheap to our DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! We're ready to pass its steering wheel (or rather the control console) to YOU. Each game in the sale is offered for a limited time only, and how long we stay in its year is up to you! Each time you see a new game on sale you can vote to either add or subtract 1 second from the timer. Each time you buy a game, you add 3 seconds to the time of it being on sale. We begin with 1983's Zork, bundled with the rest of the Zork Anthology of 6 games in total, for only $1.79. How long will it last on the front page? You'll be the judge. What comes next, as the game of 1984? Let's find out!

Let's take a trip in GOG.com's DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! 30 great games from 1983-2013 will be available up to 90% off, and you get to decide how long each game is on sale. Ready? The technomagical gateway to 1983 opens NOW!

* "Again?", you might ask, "when did they ever do the time warp?". Well, once you embark on a journey through time, all becomes relevant and there's absolutely no guarantee that what you are doing, you are doing for the first time. In fact, that's highly improbable. After all, time isn't linear. It's more like a giant wobbly-bobbly goggy-boggy ball of gaming awesome!

MisterLovejoy: Its sent. Enjoy Canucky!

SalarShushan: Canucky? Should I be afraid to ask what that is? (Didn't show in GoG's search whatsit)
Just jabbing him about being Canadian. Not that I have anything against them. My sister even married a guy who had a piano teacher who had a Canadian handy man. I swear.
Thief 3. Are we to expect JusasIscariot dropping in to say how good this game is?

Zone21: woke up in the middle of the night, bought seriou sam with my smart phone and resumed sleeping
But then woke up to post?
So, is there a mod to change the Papyrus font to something less terrible?
I hope that Neverwinter Nights 2 will be on sale aswell. ~.~

OOohh D'oh! Well, that's proof enough for anyone ;)

[Sorry, I honestly thought that was a game title... like Spelunky, but maybe with ducks or something]
This is lame. I know GOG is great with old games, but after GMG's Thief pack for $4.74 (not including the 20% discount voucher) you'd think they'd offer a bit more competitive price. But just thief 3 for $2.50? Boooooooooooo!

Maybe he's sleep posting?
Love GOG and all but this sale has been weak, especially seeings how we just came off Christmas, Thanksgiving and that crazy roulette sale or whatever it was.

Malek86: Darn, missed on the 90% off game. On the other hand, I already have both Serious Sam on disc and Serious Sam HD, so yeah. How long did it last?
avatar
foxworks: 3 hrs i believe
Not that much, then. Maybe because Croteam discounts their games so often, a lot of people must have it already.
CRAP, I missed Prince of Persia :/

I'm up until 5 am here, go to sleep and then suddenly it comes online D:
Damn Sorcery!

It's not like we expected a sale at this time though. Everything is a bonus.

wrathsinger: Thief 3. Are we to expect JusasIscariot dropping in to say how good this game is?
Well, it was fun just walking about the city randomly pickpocketing people, breaking into houses, and just goofing off between missions. But they took away mah rope arrows! >:(
Good job GOG, putting the only the last game in a trilogy on sale :p
avatar
animalmother2105: Another sleeptime and I missed only 2 games again. Great! :)
avatar
wrathsinger: Do be careful with such statements, we have a serial gifter on the loose, I repeat, be careful, foxworks is on a gifting spree.
If you come across foxworks, be wary, this guy/gal is really awesome and can cause your shelf to suffer a load of new games.
I suggest everyone to take extreme precautions as to not provoke the gifting. It should all settle down eventually.
:-)

foxworks: what did you miss?

Doh! Now I understand :P
avatar
wrathsinger: Uh-oh, too little too late.
Good to know. :) But those were games I am not really interested in. So he/she does not need to gift me anything.
