Let's do the time warp again*!

Welcome to our [url=http://www.gog.com]DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for a fascinating ride to the early days of PC gaming and back again, with 30 excellent titles selected from the years 1983-2013, available up to 90% off (that is for as little as $0.59!). You'll find amazing games in amazing prices featured one by one on GOG.com main page, and before the sale is done you'll be able to complete your very own display of gaming history on a budget below $65 (because this would be the cost to get every single game in the sale). Are you ready?

There's more than just buying games incredibly cheap to our DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! We're ready to pass its steering wheel (or rather the control console) to YOU. Each game in the sale is offered for a limited time only, and how long we stay in its year is up to you! Each time you see a new game on sale you can vote to either add or subtract 1 second from the timer. Each time you buy a game, you add 3 seconds to the time of it being on sale. We begin with 1983's Zork, bundled with the rest of the Zork Anthology of 6 games in total, for only $1.79. How long will it last on the front page? You'll be the judge. What comes next, as the game of 1984? Let's find out!

Let's take a trip in GOG.com's DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! 30 great games from 1983-2013 will be available up to 90% off, and you get to decide how long each game is on sale. Ready? The technomagical gateway to 1983 opens NOW!

* "Again?", you might ask, "when did they ever do the time warp?". Well, once you embark on a journey through time, all becomes relevant and there's absolutely no guarantee that what you are doing, you are doing for the first time. In fact, that's highly improbable. After all, time isn't linear. It's more like a giant wobbly-bobbly goggy-boggy ball of gaming awesome!

I loved the Insomnia Sale but 1 hour a game is a bit too long imho......

ssokolow: Ugh. I hate these "babysit the computer" sales. This sort of thing is why I prefer normal GOG sales, Humble Bundles, and Desura-available games on ShinyLoot over the Humble Store and Desura itself.

They present everything at the time they send me the e-mail notification (or a predictable one week later, as with the Humble Bundle extras) and give me at least 10 hours to take advantage of each deal so I can catch some sleep if I need to.

I've got things to do and, even if I had the energy, I can't afford to stay up all night to make sure I get every game I care about.
I assume that these are ideal for people who sit in front of a computer all day, or stay up all night. I won't see a computer again for around twelve hours, and when I get home I'm going to want sleep.
Well, this is interesting. Sleeping is gunna suck D:
Oh lord... this is going to be another time sink like last time :p

Not as much of a hole in my wallet though, I think. Because I got a LOT of the items I wanted from the Insomnia sale. Then again, depending on what pops up, I might change my mind.
Can't wait for a sale of Jack Keane 2 :-D
And once again. I can neither purchase or even see the price of the item. Gee GoG if you didn't want me to take part in this sale you should have said so. :p

I have actually made a mention of this to the support though. Though this seems to be a trend with GoG sales events I'm noticing. The prices for everything else on the site work fine... just not the items on sale. Even Zork antghology which I couldn't see before or buy before is perfectly visible and purchasable now.

Think of it as some work done in order to "earn" the game at such a low price, a little bonus for those willing to put in the effort.
Aha! 3 more RPGs for my collection. (Ultima 1+2+3)

I want to see that as well, if only to see how fast GOG users can push down the timer bar.
Another great idea for a sale, thanks GOG!
Poo. Clicked on the link in the email that I was sent as soon as it arrived - and it's half way through 1984. I'd have bought the Zork Anthology as well!

Any chance of reversing time back to 1983?

What version of FF? What plugins? Any script blockers, overly high security, stuff like that? Because I just looked at it in FF too and it's just fine.
