Let's do the time warp again*!

Welcome to our [url=http://www.gog.com]DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for a fascinating ride to the early days of PC gaming and back again, with 30 excellent titles selected from the years 1983-2013, available up to 90% off (that is for as little as $0.59!). You'll find amazing games in amazing prices featured one by one on GOG.com main page, and before the sale is done you'll be able to complete your very own display of gaming history on a budget below $65 (because this would be the cost to get every single game in the sale). Are you ready?

There's more than just buying games incredibly cheap to our DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! We're ready to pass its steering wheel (or rather the control console) to YOU. Each game in the sale is offered for a limited time only, and how long we stay in its year is up to you! Each time you see a new game on sale you can vote to either add or subtract 1 second from the timer. Each time you buy a game, you add 3 seconds to the time of it being on sale. We begin with 1983's Zork, bundled with the rest of the Zork Anthology of 6 games in total, for only $1.79. How long will it last on the front page? You'll be the judge. What comes next, as the game of 1984? Let's find out!

Let's take a trip in GOG.com's DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! 30 great games from 1983-2013 will be available up to 90% off, and you get to decide how long each game is on sale. Ready? The technomagical gateway to 1983 opens NOW!

* "Again?", you might ask, "when did they ever do the time warp?". Well, once you embark on a journey through time, all becomes relevant and there's absolutely no guarantee that what you are doing, you are doing for the first time. In fact, that's highly improbable. After all, time isn't linear. It's more like a giant wobbly-bobbly goggy-boggy ball of gaming awesome!

Davane: This is the perfect music to listen while watching the timer go up like a Windows XP progress bar!
Do you have anything longer? We might need it.

gscotti: We already know that M&M 6 pack is not going to win this contest. SC 2K beat it.
In time on the block, but apparently not sales. Might and Magic is sitting above SImCity on the top sellers list right now.

now is time for long napie ;-)
Lol, this sale is never gonna end XD

The time keeps on going up instead of going down.

sedaps: I'm going to watch Deus Ex just to see how high the time goes. I'm going to guess it will top off around 1:55.
avatar
gscotti: CONGRATULATIONS!!! You totally called it. Hat's off to you.
Nope, it did not top off at 1:55, well I guess we are still around 1:55 but I think it will go over 2:00.

Why I found myself laughing maniacally after reading this, will forever remain a mystery.

Am I the only one who gets the urge to reinstall/play through Deus Ex every time I see it up for sale?! Deus Ex, I just can't stay mad at you, even for bringing the sale to a crashing halt...

V_Racer: Welp, I guess we have a winner already. Can't imagine any other game that would add up the time for over two hours.
Maybe Neverwinter Nights if will appear? Both selled fast during the imsonmia promo
I've seen the clock hit exactly 1:58:00 twice already, it may reach (and even pass) 2 hours.

EDIT: 1:59:32

That's not bad, but this is an alternative with more punch ;)

NWN 1-2 or System Shock 2 could probably beat Deus Ex.
The year 2000 game is gonna bring the timer to 02:00:00 or even higher. Strap in folks it seems like we might never go Back to the Future again. :O
We need a good Deus Ex Machina to stop this madness...
2h! It's a new record!
