There's more than just buying games incredibly cheap to our DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! We're ready to pass its steering wheel (or rather the control console) to YOU. Each game in the sale is offered for a limited time only, and how long we stay in its year is up to you! Each time you see a new game on sale you can vote to either add or subtract 1 second from the timer. Each time you buy a game, you add 3 seconds to the time of it being on sale. We begin with 1983's Zork, bundled with the rest of the Zork Anthology of 6 games in total, for only $1.79. How long will it last on the front page? You'll be the judge. What comes next, as the game of 1984? Let's find out!

Let's take a trip in GOG.com's DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! 30 great games from 1983-2013 will be available up to 90% off, and you get to decide how long each game is on sale. Ready? The technomagical gateway to 1983 opens NOW!

* "Again?", you might ask, "when did they ever do the time warp?". Well, once you embark on a journey through time, all becomes relevant and there's absolutely no guarantee that what you are doing, you are doing for the first time. In fact, that's highly improbable. After all, time isn't linear. It's more like a giant wobbly-bobbly goggy-boggy ball of gaming awesome!

Asking again: Did someone pick up a copy of Star Control and is willing to trade it?
It's kind of funny watching that timer keep going up. It'll be interesting to see whether that game will still be on sale later this afternoon. ;)

ggf162: Deus Ex Ma-Keane-A, anybody?
Nice one.

IAmSinistar: Deus Ex: Jacking In
ah nice one.

Deus Ex

"The choices are yours and so are the Keanesequences"?
"Te inter webs cannoot take it Capt'n!"

Seriously though - it's over 1:30 and still going up!

This is gonna be Keanus Ex alright (lit: Intervention of Keane)

Who's thinking this might actually out-Keane SC2K, and make it to the top of the Keane List?

CorranHorn: Deus Ex is a game that can be played in so many ways. It´s funny how the same company could do one of the best games ever made and at the same time do one of the worst games ever made.
Well, when said company have more than a office and respective teams is easy to see how this can happen

hehe...good one I would like to add my earlier contribution at the end to make it complete as Deus Ex Ma-Keane-A GOTLY Edition. :)

Not just that. The question is more like, will it manage to get to 5 hours? And americans have also woken up now, although it's still a working day...
With Deus Ex out there, we can all go back to our normal lives for a couple of hours.

True, Deus Ex was made by a different team. That said, you could compare Daikatana to Anachronox and there would also be a huge quality gap.

Easily. And how about Keanu Ex? That way you get in both Keane and Keanu Reeves, star of cyberpunk films and thus another connection. :)
One might be able to play Deus Ex in full by the time we switch to 2001.
You know, I think this might be functionally the same as just permanently reducing Deus Ex's price to $1.99. The way it's going right now, there's no chance it will ever leave the front page again.

It's Roughly 3:00 PM in the Americas now, so soon there will be a steady stream of people getting off of work.
The game is going to be known as Deus EX KOTY Edition (Keane of the Year)
