Let's do the time warp again*!

Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for a fascinating ride to the early days of PC gaming and back again, with 30 excellent titles selected from the years 1983-2013, available up to 90% off (that is for as little as $0.59!). You'll find amazing games in amazing prices featured one by one on GOG.com main page, and before the sale is done you'll be able to complete your very own display of gaming history on a budget below $65 (because this would be the cost to get every single game in the sale). Are you ready?

There's more than just buying games incredibly cheap to our DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! We're ready to pass its steering wheel (or rather the control console) to YOU. Each game in the sale is offered for a limited time only, and how long we stay in its year is up to you! Each time you see a new game on sale you can vote to either add or subtract 1 second from the timer. Each time you buy a game, you add 3 seconds to the time of it being on sale. We begin with 1983's Zork, bundled with the rest of the Zork Anthology of 6 games in total, for only $1.79. How long will it last on the front page? You'll be the judge. What comes next, as the game of 1984? Let's find out!

Let's take a trip in GOG.com's DRM-Free Time Machine Sale! 30 great games from 1983-2013 will be available up to 90% off, and you get to decide how long each game is on sale. Ready? The technomagical gateway to 1983 opens NOW!

* "Again?", you might ask, "when did they ever do the time warp?". Well, once you embark on a journey through time, all becomes relevant and there's absolutely no guarantee that what you are doing, you are doing for the first time. In fact, that's highly improbable. After all, time isn't linear. It's more like a giant wobbly-bobbly goggy-boggy ball of gaming awesome!

Thought this was the game gog gave away for free for a minute, but that was Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games.

Enebias: Hello everyone, I'm back! :)
I need to hear some opinions about Jagged Alliance: is it worth it?
It has turn-based combat on a huge island divided in sectors. You hire merceneries, who get better in skills like marksmanship or explosives. You get hand on various weapons, build bombs, toss grenades etc. If you like that kind of games, you will have a blast. At that price, it is a no-brainer.

I bought it to have a digital copy, which runs on modern computers although I beat it once.

Thanks! I bought it just two minutes before your reply, but that is much appreciated, anyway! :)
Hi,
can anyone tell me which games have been on sale so far? I only saw Zork, King's Quest, Might&Magic 1-6 and actual Jagged Alliance. Thank you in advance.

You're welcome! Sinistar is also cataloging the length of time each game is running, but they had to take a break for the night (that whole "sleeping" thing). Still, it will probably get updated later today and is full of neat info: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/drmfree_time_machine_sale_game_list/page1
I hate these promos which don't clearly show from the very beginning whether I already have the game in GOG, like normal promos do. Ok, at least you see that as soon as you click on it...

Anyway, I think I'll pass these offers and wait for normal promos which don't expect me to stare or keep checking the main page constantly.
The problem with a sale like this is when you don't know it's on for 19 hours!

Luckily I own most of what's been on sale already, but would have got gifts.

You are welcome. Do not forget to buy JA 2 sometimes. It is basically the same, with better graphics, more weapons, new merceneries. Of course the old ones are there too, with some surprises.
THANKS GOG FOR ANOTHER GAME I ALREADY OWN

WOOHOO
Crusader: No Remorse! Bought!!!

Starting to wish I hadn't... ;-P
Dammit, I'd tell everyone that Crusader is an amazing game that everyone should experience for themselves, but it'll only make the wait longer for the next year.. /ego
So is it true that GOG will release Torchlight 3 via its time machine soon?
"If you don't have a bad attitude you don't have a chance" says Crusader No Remorse GoG page. I bet... I know allota people got bad attitudes right now...
