I can't find my Doom 2 floppies. Does lost to the mists of time count?

I need to find someone ho has a CD that I can borrow.

I chucked my Gold Box games in the process of moving . Along with them went a ton of other classics that I'd really like to have back in my library, from SSI, MicroProse, etc. Probably around 50 games. Sadly, kept a bunch of games - simply because they were newer - that I have no interest in playing again.

I've been making iso images of my CDs for a long time now, so if any of them do become unreadable I am still set.

The only games I've ever gotten rid of were ones I hated, so no regrets so far.

I gave away almost all of my games at one point but I have no regrets about getting rid of them. The memories are what's of true value here.
It's ironic however that I had to trash quite a few games because I couldn't find anyone who wanted them even for free and some of those games are now revered as classics with boxed versions in good condition getting $100 bids on Ebay, in some cases even more.

I gifted all my old games after i lost my apartment. Can't say how many only that it was an entire room full of them and some big boxes under the roof and all my consoles (since Pong i only missed 4 or 5).

I guess it had to be from my C64, because I still have all my PC games. Though, probably some of the CDs no longer work.
I'm a pack rat, so I don't like to get rid of anything. Up until a year or two ago I still had the floppies to install DOS, though I owned no working floppy drive.

Theta_Sigma: LMAO Yes, yes they are. I always loved the Kyle Katarn stories, they always felt to me what Lucas' prequel films should have been in terms of quality, story telling, and fun. I absolutely LOVED the cinematics done in Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 so much. I used to watch them over and over and over again, I actually remember getting the Demo for free and then doing chores around my folks house to earn the money to get it.

Theta_Sigma: I sat in my secondary school library (they had a faster internet connection than I did at the time) and writing down (not printing actually writing notebooks) of information on the games, from cheats (more or less a curiosity) to walkthrough guides, tips and a bunch of other stuff. I even made a Windows 95 or 98plus theme using screen caps, sounds I made myself and audio clips from the game. I actually made the Lightsaber activation and deactivation using only a Windows' audio recorder and the echo effect it could implement into the recording. :D

If that doesn't scream hardcore Star Wars fan, I'm really not sure what would.

And about the link Judas removed - if I wanted to download it, I don't think I would have any problems finding questionable copies. But I want a legit CD to put on the shelf, with a nice instruction manual to read on the throne :)

DOOM 1 & 2 are both DRM-Free on Steam. Just go to the "common" folder and back them up. You can play these games without the client.
