Fun game and I am $12.00 lighter! :o)
Arma II just went DRM-free: http://www.arma2.com/supply/all-downloads/file/219-arma2update_105.html?lang=en
To the list of developers:
Digital Eel

They also release their older games as freeware. Their latest addition to freeware list is "Strange Adventures in a Infinite Space", in my opinion the best coffee break game since Minesweeper.

I added this developer but it does not appear on page one (well at least for me it is not showing).
- Gratuitous Space Battles
- Solium Infernum (just a CD key)
I thought of something extremely sinister:
DRM triggers. Games that appear to be DRM-free but contain a hidden, rootkit-like DRM system that can activate after certain criteria (such as system date) are met.
While unlikely to the point of absurdity, it's a scary thought. ;)

Don't give them ideas!

Just to add to Narakir's mentioned games, Cryptic Comet's earlier game, Armageddon Empires, also uses only a serial key.
A small collection of games that "lost" their DRMs :
- Civ 4 : DRM (Securom) removed with the latest patch at least for retail version.
- X3 Terran Conflict : DRM (Tages) removed with the latest patch 2.5.
- X3 Reunion : Starforce removed with latest patch and is out of the Gold Edition Retail version.
- NWN2 : DRM (Securom) has been also removed with latest patches.
- The Witcher : DRM (Tages) removed with latest patches.
Now if EA could do the same thing for Mass Effect 1... I'll gladly give it a try.

Time-limited DRM... I like this kind of 'compromise' between publishers' (illusory) need for security and (some) gamers' need for freedom. I hope this trend will make it easier for GOG to obtain these games in coming years... :D

Removing DRM after a game has been out so long it really doesn't matter any more. I will be happily surprised when they release a new game DRM Free.

I will use your "Time-Limited DRM" on the first page.

The 7th Prince of Persia game, and Demigod come to mind. Those were pleasant surprises, and hopefully a sign of more to come.
I suppose Titan Quest counts as a Time-limited DRM, it's been patched to hell and back and there's no DRM on it. I think.
