Does anyone know a list of the games on Steam that are DRM-free?

Yes I know Steam is DRM, but is there a list for games that once downloaded don't need Steam to run, or can easily be made to run without Steam(like the Lucasarts adventure games-extract a file and it works fine with scummvm or source ports where only data files are needed).

If the list is just DOSbox games that's fine too.

If I asked in the steam-forums I'd probably get someone saying Steam isn't DRM.

Assassins Creed 1 can be run without the Steam client. I think COD4 can too.

... I thought the ScummVM developers made a point of NOT adding the Windows ports of the LucasArts games a while back.

That said, the only games I can think of are the DOSBox based ones - Commander Keen, Doom, Quake (I think), Wolfenstein 3D, and the X-Com series.
Any game that has an external mod launcher, e.g. Gothic 1 (possibly Gothic 2), Fallout 3, etc.
Time Gentleman Please and Ben There Dan That.
Most of non-Steamworks games. You just download a cracked exe and you're done with the Steam requirement. ;)

Do you have a link for running The Dig, Loom, and Indiana Jones from Steam on scummvm?

So say I got Oblivion, how would I get it to run w/ out login? I plan on modding this time around but am not so familiar with working around Steam.
Here's a list:

I don't know specifically since I'm not an Oblivion fan but I presume (since it's the same engine as FO3) it has a 'mod manager' or some other type of .exe file you launch. That is, you don't actually launch the game's .exe to start playing you launch the mod manager which uses the game's resources (plus whatever alterations the mods you have installed make).

Pretty much. To use some of the heavier mods you need OBSE Oblivion Script Extender and that will handle launching the game for you. Fallout 3 uses GFWL as DRM but again you need a script extender for some mods (FOSE) and that will override GFWL.

if you install the script extender (a necessary mod for running many of the more advanced mods out there) you can also just use its executable to run the game DRM-free.

The same applies to FO 3 and perhaps to FO: New Vegas (not sure about that one since it uses Steamworks).

Edit: Ninja'd :/

Forgive me, but I don't see a list of DRM free games.

That site only lists steam games with third party DRM. The OP is asking for games sold on Steam that bypass the client.
For what it's worth, A lot of the time it's easier to list stuff that includes something, instead of listing everything under the sun that doesn't have it.

Or in other words, if the game isn't on the list, it probably doesn't have 3rd party DRM.
