Great news, and seems to work great on the latest ScummVM. Played it a bit yesterday, and I have certainly forgotten how to play the game, played the CD version through a long time ago.

I was bit surprised how well the audio (music, sound effects, speech) stands up even today, I was expecting it to be gringeworthy, but no, pretty nice even today. Graphics are what they are, but they work. Reminds me of Amiga gaming at its best (wasn't this originally an Amiga game anyway?)

Ps. Does the French-language version have additional foreplay in the sex scene?
WOW, so awesome. I always wanted to play this game. ^^
Lol, be careful about copyprotection.

you need the manual for terminal commands and you need the CD box scan for your computer password

Good point. I think there was a door code that you needed to get from the manual too.

Still, nothing that Google can't help with, but the Diary of a Madman that forms the source of it does make for compelling reading.
ScummVM website provides a manual, but doesn't provide a CD case scan, so for a moment I was like a child in the forest trying to find what the password is :P
I've just contacted LeChuck at ScummVM to offer an image of my German copy and, when I'm back home next month, to grab my German documentation so I can scan it in. Watch this space if anyone is interested.

If I remember though, the password was in the diary somewhere. It's certainly not on the CD case.

All the answers to copy protection are on the last filled page of the character's diary in the docs.

Oh, thanks.
Wow, had totally forgotten about this one. I'm almost positive that I only read a review of it once in a German mag and then never heard of the game again. O_O

Edit:
I need to play this. Just watched this gameplay footage (includes the uncut sex scene):

At least the manual is available on the ScummVM site. Not sure if it includes the computer password. And since the IP holders released this as freeware, I presume they've somehow taken care of that anyway. :)

(I presume the password from my CD version will not work, was it different for each copy of the game? I don't even recall that...)

Ninjas everywhere...

The password is included at the end of the Journal, that is uploaded alongside with the manual on ScummVM website, so the problem is solved ;-)
Thanks for sharing this good news, DukeNukemForever.

The manual is the solution then... :)

Yes. Apparently, despite this version being free, some code has to be typed in manual-ly.

(I will now hide in the corner and lower my head in shame. ;) )
By the way, I may now confirm, that the UK version has pixelized dick uncensored :P

The game is pretty violent too :P

Thanks for the info, OP. The game looks really interesting. And I also found out that that game about Amazon Queen is freeware too ;-)
