Probably cause Bioware doesn't feel like patching the interface so they just said "screw it, we'll let the modders take care of this"

The way this is reading it's not even Bioware doing this, rather a group of modders have made tools that will be able to allow modding. So rather Bioware/EA allows this to continue is another thing...

These mod tools is not developed by BioWare it is developed as a third party mod tool or utility like Tex Mod by some PC gamers who know how to program. With more modding functionality than Tex Mod.

Electronic Arts (EA) and BioWare are allowing (Hopefully) them to release these mod tools.

I do hope this makes Electronic Arts (EA) realize that having mod tools support for the PC versions of video games will have their video games selling for years.

The PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim selling on PC for 3 years, 1 month, and 15 days straight is, because the PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on PC has mod tools support.

Dragon Age was good,DA2 was fair,purchased D.A.I. and haven't gotten thru the Prologue as yet and I doubt I ever will..
Your right Skyrim is the BEST..

EA can't release mod tools. That means access to their precious Denuvo.

In the custom firmwares! Sadly for us, install a custom firmware isn't legal :(

But I have crossed into players with MOD games, like in GTA 4, Ghost Recon Future Soldier and Red Dead Redemption and Gran Turismo 5 when servers were online. I guess many other games have this kind of mods too.

But its so unfair. I've played a Modded Skyrim and now my vanilla Ps3 version is just bleh.

Totally get the vanilla part. PS'3 Skyrim seems to be locked at medium graphics, while on PC you can even add HD graphics, towns and quest!

The most unfair thing isn't that, is for us who own a total legit console and went online to play legit games, but found with cheaters who have fully mod his games...

But yeah. I had me a fortress, complete with guards and shit of my own in my pc version on steam.
