Landeril: So basically. PC Players are getting more tools and cool stuff :P Where are the mods for the PS3/360 versions!
LOL!

gunsynd: Dragon Age was good,DA2 was fair, purchased D.A.I. and haven't gotten thru the Prologue as yet and I doubt I ever will..
Your lucky you got to play that far.
I've been trying to install the disc version for 2 days & can't get passed 23%.
EA support is the worst I've come across.

Landeril: I am so sorry my friend. Do you want a hug? Cmon. Hug the fat man! :D
Hahahaha, nah, I am ok. Hopefully PS4 will not get pirated soon.

gunsynd: Seems to me that's normal nowadays, the last big headache to keep running was Skyrim..

montcer9012: But Skyrim compensate it by his highly involving gameplay/history/world/graphics. Dragon Age is just meh.
lolwut? What graphics it has, it was added in by modders. And DA is much better in gameplay. I haven't played either, but I've read and seen enough to understand the differences. No offense meant ofc, and please correct me if I'm wrong.Skyrim is better only in the fact that its has an open world and DA:O doesn't. And both are fantasy, but I agree Skyrim is more historically accurate in representing the Viking culture its based off of.

On another note, how exactly will mods work when Denuvo has shut down the .exe? I don't think it won't be as moddable as Skyrim.

How can you say it is better, if you haven't played the game? Read something is just not enough; is like learn to swim with a internet guide.

Skyrim came out late in 2011, 3 years has passed and since then games graphics has evolved a LOT. Negate Skyrim high tech graphics for 2011 is just absurd since modders (And Bethesda, since Steam version have a free DLC for HD graphics) add better graphics when the game starts to become elder, that means, with time.

I am not a big Elder Scrolls fan, I first meet the game saga with Skyrim, but even with low graphics settings the game is more fun than DA. Even DA Origins was boring, poor graphics and poor history; nothing that marks a different among the other same style games.

Skyrim wasn't groundbreaking for its time. Crysis 1 and The Witcher 2 were both around then, and both trumped stock TES:V graphics very easily. Ofc historically TES is better, but that's because some of the series is inspired by history. DA on the other hand just uses a medieval setting and is complete fantasy. So comparing them on that facet is quite pointless actaully.

Again, I'm not stating I know a lot here, but I have read detailed articles on the mechanics of both, and having seen both play in YT vids, DA seems to be better since it has much deeper combat, is much more choice-driven and has very good story, character depth and character development.

WASN'T!!?? Hahahaha, nah, you just don't like the game. At least you are honest and recognize game's history is cool. And yes, Crysis 1 have better graphics,

Anyway, let's get back this thread his patch:

Johnathanamz: The PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim selling on PC for 3 years, 1 month, and 15 days straight is, because the PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on PC has mod tools support.
I agree with you. Hope EA and Bioware things the same so DA fans could enjoy the game many time.

Where did you purchase game, not that it matters too much I got mine from (mario's games)Hong Kong.Yes your right it took me a couple hours before I got into the game not realizing having to join EA and Origin. If I had of known that bullshit was going to be added to playing the game I wouldn't of paid for it.
Sounds like your copy has disc problems, sorry to hear..Good Luck in trying to get Support from these pricks...
There are other ways to get a working copy...
Hey, I loved(love/foreverwilllove) Dragon Age Origins, loved the characters, loved the setting, loved the atmosphere. I particularly loved it because in many senses it was like a "new" Baldur's Gate. Of course, I was like wtf wth with the sequel because of that same reason, I expected a sequel that kept reminding me of BG and what I found wasn't it. Yes, the game was pretty cool and some characters made me crack (particularly Varrik and Isabella, I kind of hated the Final Fantasy elf, and the rest were ok), but it took me a long time to really get into the game because I was dissapointed it didn't give me what I wanted.
For what i've seen from Dragon Age Inquisition (on a friend's house), it has DA2 combat with large "open world" maps and a lot of things revolving around managing your castle and forces. It didn't really reminded me of DA:O, except for the fact that Leliana and Morrigan are there :D. Oh well... slow tactical combat is like gone from this time and age, I'll forever treasure DA:O for that reason, last AAA to use that formula.
