Thankfully the story won't advance till you take the Deep Roads expedition so you have as much time as you like for sidequests.

Finished the Rock Wraith. You are doing that on nightmare? Good luck with that and I mean it.

Namur: I meant because of the wave after wave after wave of mobs i keep seeing mentioned everywhere, it gets boring, a task, not fun ;)

cw8: Exactly, it gets really repetitve, even though it's challenging to kill them all. Harder doesn't mean more tactical.
Looking forward to Ancient Rock Wraith. At least they cloned a WoW raid boss encounter for that.
Which raid boss? One from original WOW that took skill or the nerfed crap from later expacs?

Well I took Varric (Locked choice), Isabela and Merrill (big mistake!). Varric and Isabela were kersplatted alarmingly quickly, I made it through the fight just barely.

Nice, I'll try finishing all the quests in the city before going down there. I think quite a number of people took him down on Nightmare already in the Bio forums.

I've played 16 hours and am still in chapter one with a lot of quests left to do before I advance. Like Mass Effect 1 and 2 it seems like it's as long of a game as you want to make it.

Holy shit. I finally found a fight in normal that is absolutely destroying me. :S (Chapter 1)

*spoilers*



If you take the quest Templar Thrask gives you to gather the apostates in a cave on the Wounded Way, there's a ridiculously tough fight with a blood mage and a ton of corpses. I hope I can back out of the fight and regroup cause I thought it would be fun to bring Varric (didn't know what this quest entailed) and he is kind of useless for this fight. I have dual wielding rogue Hawke, Aveline, Merrill and Varric. The other two are fine but I'm really wishing I brought Fenris instead of Varric right now. This is definitely a doozy of a fight.

Hindsight isn't new. It doesn't have anything to do with the comic either.. But check the video, it has an awesome background story.

My apologies, just read a blurb about it, I thought it was designed by the PA folks. At any rate, apparently anyone can get it, if they would like it.
