Dr.M. has stolen our marketing plans, taken our game masters, absconded with our video trailers, and pilfered our contracts! Coala suggests that we should track down the evil Dr., but how in the world can we do that? We know that he has our "Get HUGE" formula, and we suspect that Dr. M. is going to the headquarters of our next publisher--and we know it's one of the five we've already mentioned in our CDP Days Conference this Spring. One of our clever developer guys pointed out that the only way that Dr. M. could have found GOG's secret headquarters (as opposed to our regular, non-secret one) would be to have put a tracking device somewhere. We've tracked Dr. M's tracker (ha! Take that, evil!) and we're plotting his location on a world map with each of our possible upcoming publishers' locations in them. Keep tuned for more updates as we triangulate on the signal and try to track down...the DASTARDLY DR. M.!

the mysterious Dr. M. made his appearance was way back in September, when we re-launched and moved the service out from the beta. Now, with the big announcement quickly approaching, it seems that Dr. M. has come out of the shadow once again. What's he up to this time? Find out more in the tale of great horror, entitled "Dr. M. & The Dastardly Doom". What horrors await? What grim future is coming to GOG.com?

We'll be posting the next pages of the comic in the next days so stay tuned to this news post as the story will reveal more info on Dr. M. and the secret briefcase!

keeveek: The question: Is The Sims Complete coming to gog?!
Doubt it as they like to cash in on the add-ons for the Sims 3. The Sims 2 aint even on Steam :(

Shame really, as alot of people out there, don't have tip top pc's. Loads are 2nd hand or hand me down's. So EA and others are missing out, on cashing in on their old games
So the two remaining publishers are EA and LA?
Either way, we win.
*Prepares credit card*
What if dots on screen are remaining publishers infected with DRM :-) Than it would mean it's Square Enix, Microsoft and 2K coming to GOG. Hardly possible, but who knows :-)

From what I gather GoG deals with games that you rarely find in either retail or digital download form.

The Sims Complete is one of them. Sims 2/3 no.

Highly unrealistic but that IS a hell of a good angle you've thought up
LA - Adventures and Tie Fighter or a chance to see the Ultima series arrive on gog.com. Whatever it may be, both publishers will make my bank account cry. )-8
If Tie Fighter is coming I think I will have a "happy sezure"
6 hours ?
*impatient*
It may sound strange, but I'm still not hyped about today's announcement. I'll *probably* play Space Rangers 2 during the presentation and learn from my brother who the big publisher to join GOG is.
(The "party" can go on now.)
Yes, 6 hours.

Damn it's dragging.
Both Lucas Arts and EA have great old games, but I hope today's publisher it's EA which bought many great developers from the past, like Westwood, Origin, Bullfrog, Maxis and others. The older games from Lucas Arts are in most part Star Wars ones and adventures and I already have almost all the interesting ones for me (besides Steam already have some of these LA classics, EA doesn't)

Yeah, and I can't understand that behavior. Because it's easy money for devs, just to send master files to GOG and make money on it.

But the sims complete were released in one package in retail, so maybe...
The old EA logo: triangle, circle, square. The pictures in the comic: space needle(triangle), apple(circle), giant post-it (square).
Going to try to catch the live event at the office if I'm on lunch, can't wait!
If I am reading the countdown timer text right, then in ~4 1/2 hours we will get the LOCATION where the big announcement will be. Since the post-it pretty clearly said E3, 2/6, LA it seems that we will find out that the announcement will be made at E3 in 4 days.

If this is right, then we have longer to wait to find out which publisher it is and it puts it smack in between my paydays. Since fate is cruel to me, I firmly believe that we have another half week of wailing and gnashing of teeth to go before we get an answer.
