Same thing here. The user and password are correct but every time i click in login it open another empty window requesting the login and pass. And there isn't no gog.com folder in my appdata roaming.
avatar
sharktejo: I'm also unable to connect in the new downloader, the login window is looping after putting the correct credentials.
Bummer!
avatar
Fallen_Zen: Try finding the log file:

Vista/7: C:\Users\Fallen\AppData\Roaming\GOG.com\logger.log
Windows XP: C:\Documents & Settings\USERNAME\Aplication Data\GOG.com\logger.log

I'll try to reproduce your problem.
No log file, and checked my user folder and had no GOG.com in the roaming folder...

Also if I try a incorrect password it tells me it is wrong, but if correct it loops and opens a second, then third and so on login windows...

There is no GOG.com Folder in the Roaming Folder.

Freakgs: No log in there, there's not even a gog.com folder in AppData/Roaming.
I have the same problem, but I did notice that if you create the gog.com folder manually, the log file does get generated.

Doesn't help to get it working though.
same here.

Windows 7 64bit, SP1
Ok, thanks for the feedback. I'm debugging the problem and will post an update later.

The logger file wasn't there either, but I manually added the GOG.com folder there, and then it added the log file. The program isn't creating the folder if it doesn't exist. I will PM my log file.

Yes, but now there's a log, thanks mate!

Indeed, you can create the gog.com folder manually and the logger appears. Thanks for the tip, MetalSoup & JackAttack!

Edit: @Fallen_Zen, I've PM'd you the content of my log file. Thanks in advance!

Already done, let me know if you don't have it. Good luck with debugging!
i sent a pm with the file. I swear it can help
Good news, thanks to your help we've identified the bug. It should be fixed in about 30 minutes without the need of updating the Downloader (server side thingy).

Hell, that's what I call fast support!
Does it work now?
