It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I just downloaded the new downloader. If you start it you are asked to enter your username and password. After you click 'Log me in', another login form opens asking the same...

looks like a bug to me...
I have the exact same problem.

As a little side note: great work, I like the idea of the new launcher (it was THAT very feature I hoped for so long) and the design changes. Thank you!

I have the same problem.
Are you guys using % sign in your password? Try changing it to a simpler one. This bug is known to us and we'll be fixing it.

Hope that helps.

Negative, only numbers, capitalized letters and and small letters.
Same for me...
Edit: I've tried resetting password (without capitalized letters, etc.), and there's no loggger.log file anywhere. The Roaming folder doesn't contain any GOG.com folder.

Have you tried changing your password still?

Also can you PM me the contents of the logger file, if exists?

Vista/7: C:\Users\Fallen\AppData\Roaming\GOG.com\logger.log
Windows XP: C:\Documents & Settings\USERNAME\Aplication Data\GOG.com\logger.log

Yes, that was the very first thing I did, after I realized that it won't work with my current one. I will now try one without capitalized letters.

Small edit:
That one didn't work, too. I will look for the log now, one moment please.

Second edit:
No log in there, there's not even a gog.com folder in AppData/Roaming.
I even double checked if I'm really using the newest beta version (3.10) and yes, it's the newest version.

Same tried changing password, Windows 8 here though. Cannot login to the new client.
everything is working for me, but to not pollute the general discussion forum, I'm requesting here to Fallen_Zen and GOG's team a new feature:
Wouldn't be the coolest thing ever to have the download progress bar in your taskbar icon? It's a very common windows 7 feature and all the new shiny downloaders have it, like utorrent and the client of another company that makes a lot of smoke.
Even Beamdog and Desura client supports it if I remember well.

I'm referring to this stuff:

thanks!
Same here. Just a new popup window asking for my password. Changing password didn't help. I used numbers and capitalized letters in my new password. Windows 7 64-bit.

This feature is planned, so stay tuned for further releases.
I'm also unable to connect in the new downloader, the login window is looping after putting the correct credentials.
Bummer!

Try finding the log file:

Vista/7: C:\Users\Fallen\AppData\Roaming\GOG.com\logger.log
Windows XP: C:\Documents & Settings\USERNAME\Aplication Data\GOG.com\logger.log

I'll try to reproduce your problem.
Same for me. After entering my passwort a new Login Screen appears. My password consists only of letters and numbers. Windows 7 64 bit.

This occurs on the stable and the new beta version.
