It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

I don’t normally upgrade applications for a week or 2 after release for this very purpose.

The new downloader crashes on Windows 7 SP1 with .Net errors and doesn’t download the "Windows Installer". Bonus content is fine!

I just downloaded 3 games and a bonus soundtrack and it worked perfect.
OK, maybe maybe on my own. Here goes...

I open the GOG.com downloader, I have no option but to upgrade. The first image in the attachment is an unclosable box forcing an upgrade. The second image follows the "Download and Install" button click.

The log the second box points to is pasted below....
Downloader starts with Windows: False

There's a new update available - 3.2.7

Inner exception:

I downgraded to the last stable release and it just forces the upgrade again. Upgrades should be optional! I should be able to revert back and not bother support for a fix imo.

I'm running Win7 x64.

I've been having some problems too, so have many others. You can tell them about it here too if you want:

Thanks, Will do.

The forced upgrade really annoys me with the old one worked fine.

There is a sticky topic for this kind of discussion, please do not create new threads about it. Thank you :)
