having trouble with the downloader
log in and downloader says connecting but does nothing
anyone know how to fix this.

have reinstalled and looked at my firewall was working the other day
apperantly i need to install lateest update for 3.5 framwork but windows says i have lastest updates and no more avalible

you are pretty vague :

you don't tell which Operating System + which browser / version you use

never needed to add an exception rule in windows 7 ' firewall (maybe it's required for some others firewall through)

if you use windows 7+ ; the framework is installed by default & updated each month (if there's / are update (s) for it)

furthermore the dowloader isn't a mandatory, if you can't use it right now , you can download all files through the browser ;)
