It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

This is slowly getting on my nerves. Every time I download any game from gog (not the content, which is usually very small comapared to game install), FIRST downloading ALWAYS finishes like this: its 99% downloaded and than - everything is lost, downloading cancels saying "unknown site error". I always have to start download from the beginning - for some strange reason, it works on the second take. I know that its not the problem for peopel with very fast internet connection, but for me, waiting like 4 hours for something to download just to see its lost and I have to start it again - its just unbearable.
Any advices?... I dont want to start using gog downloader, because people here usually write that its even slower download than browser option..

Have you mailed support?

With regards to the downloader, I haven't found it to be terribly slow, plus, a slow download is better than no download.
Are you perchance using Chrome? In that case, click on the small arrow next to the file that you are downloading in the download bar, and you can find an option for resuming.
I don't know if it is Chrome itself or Avast! that is doing that to me, but it is quite common that they will halt the download when it is just about done, and I have to go through this procedure.
yes, i´ve been using mostly google chrome, but anyway, i wasn´t able to find any resume option at all.. nevermind, i decided to try gog downloader and so far it seems all right. so if everything goes ok, i will continue using that one. i hope i am not going to be one of these saying gog downloader is slow : )

It varies for people, depending on their connection. For me, downloading stuff through the GOG downloader is very fast, about twice the speed of downloading from GG, and also a little faster than downloading through the browser.
