Hey everyone, sorry if all this was posted somewhere else. I searched, but couldn't find exactly what I wanted to talk about.

Anyway, it looks like Downfall has gotten put up on Steam's Greenlight section. While looking through it I saw some interesting tidbits, mostly contained in this paragraph:

"Please note this game was released originally in 2009 and is available DRM-Free from Screen7.co.uk, Quiethavenhotel.co.uk, GamersGate and soon GOG.com. If this is successfully Greenlit, R. Michalski has promised to remake it so that we can include voices and upgraded graphics etc and bring you an even better experience on Steam."

So I haven't played Downfall yet, but played The Cat Lady here, and really enjoyed it. I was excited to see that they said it was coming soon to GOG. Although it is a little weird that they stipulate the Steam Greenlit first, I'm excited about the prospect of an updated version. I would imagine GOG would get that version aswell, if it was made, which means everyone should go and vote on the Greenlight page when they can.

Edit: Looks like my link is getting redirected back here, is that a no-no to post Steam links?
A properly tagged url will display. You had (url=)http(/url), thus it was missing the proper url. Modifying it to (url=http)http(/url) should fix it. Replace () with [] obviously.
Thanks JMich!
Amazing game! played when it came out, I even like it more than the cat lady.
Hope it get released here on gog
Even though I already have it from Desura, I intend to buy it again when it lands on GOG. I certainly hope we would get any extended version as well, should one be made.

This looks cool! I loved "The Cat Lady," it was one of the best indie games I played last year, and one of the best ever in general. I'll definitely give this a vote :)

No, because I don't want people buying it from Desura now, I want them to buy it from GOG when it gets here. :)

Maybe desura links and steam links should be removed then ;)

Whenever a GOG link is available, yes. Let me get on my jackboots and we'll have ourselves a purge. ;D

Aww c'mon, I only put the Steam link in the OP because it seemed like voting there might help get the updated version to GOG

From Greenlight dedcription:

So, yeah :) It's probably coming to GOG soon, and voting on Greenlight is also voting for a remake :)
