I've noticed every time I log in to GOG this little periscope pops out of the ocean at the top of the screen and quickly scuttles back below the waves. So, I'm left wondering, "What would happen if I managed to click on it?"
Without fail, every time I log in that little periscope is the furthest thing from my mind until the exact moment it pops out and by then it's too late; down it goes. Missed it again...

Now, I know I could have easily just logged out and immediately logged back in so the thought of the tiny periscope is still fresh in my mind, and then proceed to click the shit out of it. That is true, but for some reason I procrastinate and defer it until "next time" every single time...

And, for some reason I thought it would make a good question to ask out loud in the forum at risk of being called a moron, numpty or worse..

So, what does it do if you click on it?

EDIT: Something just occurred to me. If that periscope is in any way meant to be a fun easter egg or achievement for the forum, please feel free to delete this post immediately.

If they do this now, they'll just be revealing the secret, don't you think?.. at least for you (and for me) ;p

Damn it! I knew I was getting myself all worked up over nothing.
Maybe they should make it do something when clicked. Nothing too uber, like instantly grant you your wishlist. But make it a link to a private forum within GOG and call it "So you clicked the tiny periscope, what do you have to say for yourself?" And then, once they tap out their witty reply and post it, they're kicked back to the regular forum pages. It would be sort of a special message board of sorts.

Just an idea. This is true, but at least it would still mitigate the outbreak so it doesn't spread forum-wide, ya know?
