1: In Die by the sword, what is the action button? (when i try to pick up health or use a lever, no matter what i press on the keyboard nothing happens)

2: In Messiah i try to find the button to possess people, but again, no matter which button i press, nothing happens.

Anyone know what to do?

1: I used to own it on cd, and I believe you press the left mouse button to use items- but your weapon has to be sheathed (right mouse button). Let me know if that works :)

2) never played it.

I just managed to find out that you have to press the / key to holster your sword, and then press the * key on items!

How stupid is that.

No idea on Messiah though.
I don't know if it applies to the GOG version, but here's controls for BTTS, depending on the mode you are set in:

For Messiah, here are the controls as well:

Yeah, i checked those sites, and they are useless.

Like i said, the action button for Die by the sword was figured out by myself eventually. It is the / key to holster weapon and then * to use an item, which is mentioned nowhere in those sites or the games manuals. Not even gamefaqs walkthrough guides state this!!!

As for Messiah it has a key for "de-possess" but what the hell is the button to Possess?
2) I played it forever ago, I think you just had to fly into people. What I do remember is that the hardest the difficulty you choose, the more difficult possession became. I distinctly remember that in the hardest level you could only possess by flying into the back of people. In normal I think it was from the sides and from behind and so on.

also RTFM.

But how do i get the "bob" (messiah) character in the first place?

Did you try the de-possess button? If I remember correctly, you start the game already possessing the cop.

I shall try that. Hopefully it will work. I have seen what i'm supposed to do (use it on the scientist).

EDIT: a bit ridiculous that i had to de-possess, and then press the control button in order to fly. Also, it has to be fast/precise because there are some guards that can see you.

You just have to fly and bump into people to possess them. Of course I only played the easiest setting, so it may not be like that in the hardest setting.
