BillyMaysFan59: That Sega bundle sure looks good! $3 for a bunch of old school console games. This might be my first purchase on DotEmu.
The full bundle of 50 games (minus sonics) was around or under $5 on Amazon, retail (drm-free afaik) or Steam. Paying $3 for just a few is crappy.
Grabbed a few games on sale. I'm still on the fence about AvP though. I really want that game, but it seems that the Steam version is the only one with working online multiplayer (and it's still alive, by the way). Since Steam's DRM doesn't bother me that much i think i'll wait and get the Steam version instead.

Thank you for the heads up, Rampancy.

The Steam AVP still works online and it's great fun!

PixelBoy: Yeah, and their installers suck even more.
So, they have their own installers? No access to the original ones?

I'll get it on Steam later then.
Can someone recommend Sega Genesis rpg games in Dotemu? I have Shining Force and that was great.

Maighstir: Which of them? There are three for 2.40 each (Sega Genesis Community Bundle, Genesis RPG Bundle, and Genesis Action / Adventure Bundle), and four for 2.25 each (Sega Mega Drive / Genesis Classics Series 1-4).

I'd say they need to hire one before they can fire him.

Not sure, but I see that there's a friend feature on there, so you might have to add eachother in order to gift games.

They have their own installers, just like GOG.

What really drives me mad with their installers is that if a game has many language versions, DotEmu installer needs to have disk space to temporarily extract EVERY language. This means that the temporary folder needs to have more free space than the actual target drive.

I'm not sure what you are refering to with the original installers?
As many games in DotEmu catalogue have been ported or (re)released by DotEmu, their installers are probably as original as possible in those cases.

DotEmu games on GOG, for instance, use GOG installers and not DotEmu installers, so one might say that DotEmu installer is the more original one of those two.

You can't gift games on DotEmu AFAIK.

Like GamersGate or Humble Store. The ones they get from the devs/publishers.

Yup that's my account
Very nice sale, thank you for post.
Ignored DotEmu until now, but too many games I wanted are on sale there now, couldn't resist. Now I'm satisfied. This will be enough for the whole Spring for me.
Patience. With this trajectory, the 10th anniversary will be giving the entire DotEmu catalogue for free! Bide you time, dear GOGlodytes :P
