Terrible? Yeah, it was not such a good horror game, but so what? It was a very good shooter, that could have been fantastic with just a few minor tweaks. Shooting was satisfying and fun, as far as weapon and monster balance goes most other games should learn a thing or two from Doom 3, and pacing was kind of slower, and since I'm a slower person, it's doom 3 I keep replaying every now and again, not Painkiller nor Serious Sam.
