ha ha, this is such a rip-off I can only laugh now :D
The more I read about it, the more disappointed I get. Did they stop selling the old versions on Steam?

Unfortunately, they did.
I read that those Lost Missions are boring like hell.
They should give the free update to all Doom 3 owners, but they want only make easy money with Doom brand.

While I love 'too damn dark' Doom 3, I'm excited to see the modern head tracking support Carmack added to BFG. I have stock Doom 3 hacked for use with an old VR headset. While it's not really usable for extended periods of time (head tracker is slow and loses calibration, fov too small, gun glued to your head, etc), the experience is something else.

Oculus Rift can not get here soon enough.

I just found out that the ID Complete Pack isn't listed on Steam in my region any more. :O

I see errors, are these links correct? Would love a comparison.

You wouldn't, they look pretty much identical. Just look at Steam page of both and compare screenshots.

Uh, what? I can still see them here.

Are you sure you can't see them because of a certain European company that gobbles up the rights in Europe and then never sells them on Steam?

They're still there, but can't any longer be bought. Note the absence of prices.

ArmA II with TrackIR. Gun controlled by mouse, view by your head, everything's still rendered on your big lovely screen, no tracking accuracy issues, provided the room is dark enough and you calibrate the unit.

So like the Baldur's Gate special edition the "enhancements" boil down to nothing or shit you can do yourself? Awesome! And throw in no mods.

... I hadn't seen that. Fuckin' id...

It oddly still shows up in the search box, but it says it has a price of $100. It must mean the old Everything id pack, which is no longer availalble for sale.
