Pretty cool huh? :)

Now we can starve together!

I'm not an MP fan but I think they should eat.
Hopefully, it will include LAN support. Would love to play it locally with my buddies!

I never really got into this game, but a nice co-op experience could change that.

I disagree. I think Multiplayer should be starved until dead.

This is more about a co-op and small scale multiplayer than anything. Being able to play it with a friend would make the game a lot more rich for myself and my significant other. She's actually the one who plays the game more than I do, but we've both tried community mod's for multiplayer but they aren't really that great thus far, and in any case something official like this would only strengthen the player base.

I personally can't wait. If anything having that extra options just ads more flavor to the game.

Why? You don't have to touch it, and it isn't like they're forgoing extra content to put it in. The game has reached every milestone Klei set for it and then some. Why not let them add an extra feature that brings in more users and adds some extra interest for some old ones?

Eh. Don't care either way as long as it doesn't take away from development on Incogn... I mean Invisible, Inc. =P

This is probably the reason they decided to add it after all. There's just been so much support for the game and so much demand for some sort of official multiplayer component. I remember then originally saying they were going to patch the game for the first six months after release and then stop there, but here it is much later and it's getting great DLC. It's very exciting to see past games still get love (even if not yet "classic").

I also hope they focus more on Invisible inc which by the way is a horrible game title. Incognita was far better. Still, I wouldn't mind co-op in this type of game actually. Any kind of versus mode doesn't interest me though.

I was kidding, and methinks you missed the point of the joke.

That being said, no, I probably won't be using the MP.
I wouldn't mind playing Don't Starve as a LAN multiplayer sandbox. Of course, I hope it allows the chance to seriously sabotage your "friend" while playing. *insert evil laugh*
