you remember a game you enjoyed immensely and full of hope and excitement you head off to the wishlist to find it only has 80 votes http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/outwars and will probably never be released?

This game rocked btw - in those days full 3 dimensional freedom of movement made you wet your pants. Just like the first FPS games that actually let you climb into a vehicle and drive around! let alone get into an aircraft and fly around! First fps that i can remember having this feature was some ww2 shooter - cant remember the name though. Think the word 'eagle' was in the name?

Codename Eagle?
I had the same feeling when I found out how many votes have Resident Evil 1-3. Especially considering how well known this franchise is.

Snickersnack: Codename Eagle?
Ah yeah actually that's it! Have an upvote :) O man that was a tough game, and lol it has even fewer votes in the wishlist.

And wishlisted - it is important gaming history after all. Atleast it has by now almost 3000 votes

Tzar had only 130 votes and yet it has been recently released so the number of wishes is not that important. Far worse thing is that Outwars was published by Microsoft and they are not here. I hope they will. Eventually. There are other unknown gems like Submarine Titans that I would love to see here.
Never heard of Outwar before. But it looks interesting and I hope that GOG can add it some day. You can never have enough good old games here (in addition to good new(ish) games of course).

Looks very Interesting- don't know how I missed it. Voted :) (for what its worth...)

Edit : what exactly does the E=mc^2 button do? http://image.gamespotcdn.net/gamespot/images/screenshots/gs/strategy/subtitans/str_subtitans_790screen002.jpg

I've always thought GOG uses the wishlist to sort out their priorities, but once they get a publisher that has eluded them for a while, I figure they'll get to work on all of their oldies, starting with the most famous or highest on the wishlist. That doesn't mean that eventually, they'd get to the less famous but still good titles down the road. If the game is good, it should get the GOG treatment in time. If Microsoft is Outwars publisher, we should wait until they're ok with the DRM free scheme first.

Here, grab a chair. Or better yet, maybe a bed would work out better, because I don't see it happening any time soon.

Yeah, they just forced using DRM on developers of Shadowrun Returns, so I don't see Microsoft on GOG anytime soon.
I probably wouldn't enjoy it much today, but first thing I thought of was Return Fire.

It's a research button :)
Marble Blast Gold http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/marble_blast_gold
5 votes. My favorite game.
I wonder if I have my Outwars box still hidden somewhere in attic.
Same feelings for Deadlock (1 & 2). One of a kind game, with really great background.

Edit : just checked, it reached the 300-ish votes in fact, which despite deserving way more is actually not that low.

I don't think I have ever come across another person that played those games, except of course for those i introduced to the game myself. That was truly an underrated gem. Replication plants, Disruptor cannons, the orcish Tarth, the sickly Maug, that hippie race...
I remember that i actually bought the game by mistake. It was reviewed directly after genewars on cybernet in one episode, that i only saw a part of. All i saw was this awesome game where a spaceship with dudes landed on a planet (genewars) followed immediately after by the Deadlock logo, not knowing that was the start of the review of the next game :P So i was a little dissapointed when i installed the game and saw it looked nothing like what i saw on cybernet. The dissapointment didn't last long however :) If anything it is a better game
