I have Visa Electron as my "credit" card, so that's a bit different than those normal Visa cards, at least I think so..

So, can I use the electron card to buy games here, or do I need to get the "proper" credit card?

I've never bought anything online using any kind of credit cards, so I'm lost with these..

I don't think it would work, since the Visa electron lacks both a card number and a CV2 code (at least mine does) both of which are required at checkout.

I personally use PayPal for most online transactions, or plain Visa.

I have an electron, but I couldn't say whether it works or not because I've only ever bought GOGs through PayPal (using the electron card, but it doesn't tell me whether GOG supports it, just that PayPal does).

That's weird, mine has one. We're talking about the 3 digits on the back, right?
What the hell are you guys talking about? :p

Visa Electron = debit card, and supports every information needed to make purchases online. Works on GOG.
Works just fine.

But it seems you need to have the "right" one? Iduntknow.

Yup. My normal Visa have those and a card number, but my electron lacks both and is useless for anything but local transactions. Guess it's different for various nations then.

I have the three numbers at the back of my card also..

I recommend you give it a shot, worst thing that can happen is that the transaction is rejected. :)

If so - it should work
apparently it won't work. Oh well..
Yes.

What's the point of having one in the first place then? Go look in your contract with the bank, then ask them why doesn't this Visa act like a Visa.

Oh, and check your balance. I could be to low to process.

Putting the information in correctly is also quite important...

Yes it does. It's not a proper credit card but a debit card. Either then that there is no difference when shopping.
I have used it to buy stuff from GOG, Steam, Impulse, Game.co.uk and Amazon.
Only thing to look out for is that youneed to have enough funds on the card before purchase.
I'm gonna try one more time. Btw, do I need to put the card number with or without spaces? And it's the 16 digit number in front of the card?

I'm sorry for being such a pain, but I have experience with these..

Yes, it's the 16 digit number in the front of the card - no spaces, just write them as one string.
