It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I mean if I use Firefox, IE, Chrome, etc., instead of the GOG downloader, is one better or worse than the others? I used Chrome for downloads so far and everything went well, but am curious about the others. Thanks
No, it shouldn't matter at all.
Oho! Browser Fan-boy alert....;o)

personally I prefer Chrome as well - IE is a joke, FF has become a bit bloated. Latest FF has taken on Chrome's minimalist look , by all accounts.

I have had no trouble with GOG downloads using Chrome either - though I feel its more to do with internet connection than browser....
As long as it's not IE6 then you'll be fine.

If it's IE6 then terrible things will be done to your toes.

Liez! To hell with you and all of your kind!

OP, join our cause! Use IE6! Don't let Microsoft and everybody else fool you! http://saveie6.com/

EDIT: Putting my serious face on... No, the browser doesn't really matter. Personally, I was using Firefox 4 Beta, but after the release of IE9, I switched to it. Never looked back.

That website hurt my brain. You're cruel. :(

IE9 is alright. Still doesn't seem to know what CSS is for. Not completely anyway. But just because it's still causing more work for web designers everywhere doesn't slow its download speeds I suppose. Not that I'd recommend it out of principal, mind.

That would just be a waste of a thread.
