I noticed that the game had many negative reviews stating that it doesn't work and I want to know if its since been fixed?

There has been a patch since those reviews, so I think it's fixed.
Also, be aware that it was always running in Software mode, the patch allows some machines to run it in Hardware mode as well. Take a look at the DK forum for more info.

Yes, it works great with the hardware acceleration fix. I played through it recently.

thanks I guess I'll get it also they should also put something in the description saying its fixed so it doesn't confuse people
