There was an old game pre 1995 i believe i thought it was kings quest but its not, it was an adventure game where you had to do tasks to move on like you had to give your feather to it was a dwarf or something to move on but the whole game was you had to figure out what items to use that you found at different points and with different people you ran into. sorry lousy explanation!

I remember one of the Simon the Sorceror games had a quest like that, but can't remember if it was a feather and a dwarf...
Thanks guys but still not one of those, i just cant explain it well enough it came with the first computer my parents bought from best buy in the late 90's and i never got to finish it before my parents got rid of it! lol the stupid dwarf/ guy with the big hands that you have to give a feather to is all i can remember right now. it was a more realistic looking game and you found several different items along the journey that you had to use. i think there was a number in the title as well something nine or something eleven, sorry no one is going to ever figure it out off of my awful description

Let's take it one step at a time. Was it first-person or third person?
Not Simon the sorcerer , it was first person from what I remember
Kingdom II: Shadoan aka Thayers quest?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tds2urQ__6U

Look at this list, maybe it's on here:

And what kind of graphics did it have? Cartoony, realistic? Say the name of a game with similar graphics.
Was more realistic than cartoony, and honestly i dont play computer games and dont know what to compair it to.

Well... The adventure bar, that thing on the bottom of the screen where you can choose actions and items, can you remember what it looked like?
Was it ISHAR maybe?

ISHAR gameplay

Or maybe ISHAR 2?

ISHAR 2 gameplay

I know these are more RPG than adventure games but, who knows maybe it's one of them you're looking for.

It was no waste of time man. It's fun to guess a game title, to play a retro game detective, well I don't know about the others but for me it's fun. ^_^

And it's always nice to help a fellow GOG member, so if you remember something else abut the game just post it and we investigate some more. ;)
