This is a giveaway for Streets of Rage 3(GG/DRM-free) .

To enter, all you have to do is tell me which is your favorite Lovecraft or Lovecraft-inspired work, be it one of his short-stories, one of his poems, a movie or a video game based on his writings, and say a few words about it. If you've never read anything by Lovecraft - his writings don't have any copyright, and he wrote mostly short stories, so take half an hour and download one of the internet .

Thanks for the giveaway, Licurg! Count me in :D

My favorite Lovecraft-inspired movie is Re-Animator. Watched it the other day on cable with my lil' sis. Kinda glad for the censorship at that time, since it put a black box up during the super-awkward sex scenes. Other than that, cable movies suck.

In for JohnWalrus, good game, +Ia Ia, Cthulhu fhtagn

Too many favorite stories (The Whisperer In Darkness, The Shadow Out Of Time, The Colour Out Of Space, At The Mountains Of Madness). So instead I'll stump a favorite game inspired by HPL - Dark Cults. Fabulous story-telling card game for two players, though with the right players it's just as much fun to observer. I still have a few sets of this, some still sealed for that terrible day to come.

Nice! I made an epub compilation of the uncollected stuff myself a while back, good to see someone offering the whole set of works. Would like to see the same done for the other Mythos authors.

Entering for JohnWalrus because it's gutsy to watch Re-Animator with your little sister... censored or not, +1 to Licurg

John Carpenter's In The Mouth of Madness is an amazing Lovecraft inspired film, finally coming to blu-ray this October. It's got a nightmarish surreal vibe that's definitely worth checking out.

Although it's a tough decision I enjoyed Shadow over Innsmouth best.
Go to Amazon and enter 'Cthulhu Fish'. Sit back and prepare to shit yourself. I picked up the plastic silver one but it needed a totally flat surface and I drive a really curvy car so I put that in my room and ended up getting a vinyl fish and putting that on there. I also have a long sleeve shirt from there and a Miskatonic hooded sweat shirt. Expensive but good quality stuff.

I have read two compilations of his stories and own a few games inspired by his works, either directly based off them or not, and have seen many movies and series inspired by them. All in all though, the one I liked best in its portrayal of it all and its overall aesthetics was They Bleed Pixels, a fairly simplistic (and strangely cute) but very lethal game I picked up a few months ago that I wholeheartedly recommend, especially if you like Super Meat Boy style games in addition to Lovecraftian horror.

Man, I love me some Lovecraft. My favorite work of his is The Colour Out of Space. But I could be content with just about all of his work.

I'm not in, but wanted to give love for the love of Lovecraft. So +1, Licurgcraft.
