Alot of the bad stuff happening on the forum recently came mostly from stuff like the ninja thread (which has been closed down fortunately) Alot of giveaways (and yes even in my eyes it is kinda getting swamped by it atm) that revolve around winning prizes i was wondering if there would be interest for people to have games like the mafia game that doesn't involve winning anything but just have some fun and have a chat.
And ifso share your ideas on what kind of games.

Oh yeah offcourse they count, but it's very specific though if you are not into movies for example one of them already is not for you, or if you suck at naming games or drawing. Maybe something more general anyone could participate in.
I don't know, just throwing up an idea here.

There's also an insult the user above you and corrupt a wish threads. Just start one and it may take off. Nobody will (or should) criticise a thread for not including a giveaway. If they do the chances are they'll be shot down by other GOG'ers.

There is only one regular in that thread who doesn't totally suck at drawing and therein lies the challenge! :P

There is quite a few already, just participate. For example Spoonerisms and some riddles thread, not counting those already said before.

The insult one i guess it could be considered a word "game" (same as the 3 word one) though again it might appeal only to some and its not one where you have to do much. I mean something where you atleast do a bit more then write 1 sentence replies and that would be a bit general for anyone to enter.
I will definitely try to make something up, but maybe someone else has some ideas too.

I don't know, just throwing up an idea here.
There's also the mafia games, and those have specific win/lose conditions, unlike the "guess" threads.

Some text adventures have also been run, but I don't remember reading about any win/lose situations in them.

Giveaways are incredible, but I'm following GOGventure at the moment, and it's still fun and creative even without a prize or a goal :D
