grinninglich: So you played with an existing Online profile. I see that always online is not a problem for you. But it is for us Simon.
I would find that more convincing if I wouldn't read that on the internet...

You won't. Because you are a company drone to promote this always online bullshit and rental gaming services like Steam.

Did you just compare posting a thread on a forum and playing a single player with always-online DRM?

Funny. :-)

Nah, I just find people who complain about online activation on games they downloaded from the internet similar to those that order a extra large McDonalds menu. But with a died Coke, because they don't want to get fat.

Maybe, but I have a working copy of Bulletstorm I enjoyed immensely. Need to play that again...

You can create an offline profile on GFWL

Simply press F11 once the game has started and at the bottom of the first window there is an option to create offline profile. Do that and when you start it just select your offline profile and away you go.

Its not rocket science and to be banging on about always online with Bulletstorm then you are REALLY mis informed. Bulletstorm has been one of the most fun and best shooters over the past few years so you are missing out on a great gaming experience.

Anyone having problems with GFWL, I would suggest before installing a GFWL game actually download the newest version of the client first off and install it. Its similar to MSN messenger if you do decide to use it as such outside of a game. Once installed then it won't mess about trying to do updates that can be funny at times when you run your game.

Ah, I thought this was about always online and not one-time activation.

I remember rushing through Bulletstorm and I thought it actually was rather okay, silly humour and such pretty decent. Hmm, maybe a replay is in order..
