Do not buy the Bulletstorm! Do not buy the Amazon bundle if you are buying it for the Bulletstorm! GFWL in Bulletstorm is a real nightmare. And it requires a constant internet connection. GFWL is buggy, inconsistent, slow... You have to see it to be believe it. Here exactly what happened when trying to play the game: (This is also my experience last night. Nothing changed since that day.)

http://www.reclaimyourgame.com/showthread.php/1248-Bulletstorm-GFWL-DRM-and-a-lot-of-my-wasted-time...

Note: By the way it is a great way but if you buy it you will have a very hard time trying to play it. Save yourself this hassle and pirate the game right now.

Bulletstorm is an awesome game, go buy it now!
To be honest i regret buying it on pc. It's a kind of game i would never buy on console because it feels you need mouse and keyboard for this kind of fast shooters but i had a lot of problems with the pc (steam) version.

It didn't run properly until i found a fix, and i had to change the ini file. It crashed, GFWL had it's usual share of problems. I took a long time to get everything to work properly and an lot of ini changing. But when it finally worked it was great! It is a fun game. Only problem i do not want to go through the hassle again and it will be a long time (if ever) till i will play this game again.
Bullestorm gets boring after first 10 minutes, avoid that game at all costs!
Bulletstorm was the first shooter that actually tried to change the concept of shooters after over ten years. And it was the first shooter I played with a controller. It was glorious.
Would have gotten that bundle if the games would have registered on Origin. As non-US I prefer games I can register on other clients.

I rather agree with you on that. While I do enjoy some shooter games; I found the campy humour of the game surprisingly entertaining and it had rather solid controls to me.

This. well may not the controller part.

I had no problem with gfwl and the game ran smoothly from start to completion but as with all pc gaming, YMMV.

Downloading on Amazon.com is a b'tch. They don't have local servers and it takes frikking ages. The one game I tried to download was coming in at a whooping 100 kb/s ...

And the "changes" they made (how much different it is from Serious Sam and Painkiller?) gave me 10 minutes of fun.

Thank god that game failed financially.

It registers on Origin. I did it. But the game uses GFWL anyway.

Comparing this game to Serious Sam and Painkiller is like saying Baldurs Gate is a bad Diablo clone. They look the same.

Maybe you should try to actually play the game.

If that is the case, maybe I should get it again. I only have it on GG ... would be nice to have it on Origin.

As far as I know, all EA games after 2009 can register on Origin as long as you have the cd-key. Even if you don't have the cd-key, as long as you can prove you purchased it, EA support should be able to assist you in adding it to Origin. I added quite a few of my Steam-bought EA games to my Origin account like that.

Bullestorm is made by the same guys who made Painkiller.

So yes, similarities are seen by naked eye, unless you are blind. But I already know you are a fun of a braindead games, so maybe you had fun with Bulletstorm that lasted longer than 10 minutes. I don't know many people who enjoyed this... thing.
