robb5: Thanks. It seems interesting, I might actually try it. But after seeing the posts in this topic I realized something: There are not many good Hack & Slash games for PC....sad....

P1na: It's mostly a console genre, yes. I'm keeping an eye on the thread to see if some good name pops up, though.
I will do like you maybe we will be lucky and find some great titles :)

Never heard of it, seems like a decent game. I will try it and come back with impressions.

I will go now but I will try some nice games you guys told me about. Thanks.

If you are talking about the new one, then so help me god....
Well Legacy of Kain Defiance very much but not so good. Also remotely Assassin's Creed and Batman fit in the beat'em all genre.

I played the new one for three/four hours on a friend X-Box and it's not bad (IMHO).

I absolutely hate what they did with the new Dante which was a badass cool guy and now is some pseudo-rebel potty mouthed emo "bad boy" dude; but game play wise I found it pretty good. Hardcore DMC fan will maybe find it less technical, but personally, I enjoyed my 4 hours of the new DMC more than my full play through of DMC 4... and the boss fights didn't drag for billions of years which is another good thing.
If it's not PC specific, you might like Bujingai. The game's only real claim to fame is having Gackt playing the main character.

Detlik: Darksiders
Seconding this. Though, it's not nearly as good as Devil May Cry.

If Dante would be Dante...and not Donte...it could be great game (I didnt play it yet), I will definitely eventually play it but...I cant understand why Tameem had to change Dante looks, just so he could stamp his face on one of my most favorite heroes of all time.

It's really hard to play it after having played God of War, too. The whole system just feels like a watered down GoW.
