Rohan15: Gotta love that Horse Armor.
F4LL0UT: Thought I was the only one who remembers that one. Was the first time I heard about DLC. Still wondering if it's the first DLC in history.
I remember it, and I never saw anything wrong whatsoever with it. It doesn't expand the game, doesn't fill in the story, has no significance at all, so I see no reason to care about it. The only reason I have the thing is because it was included on the Knights of the Nine disc.
Stuff I dislike are content that's included in the base install disc but needs extra payment to activate, and things like the the Dragon Age: Origins camp quest giver, that directly references and gives pointers to content that isn't present. Give me lore and history about a forgotten hold, awesome, I really enjoy reading lore and history about the fantasy worlds I travel in, but don't f**king say you have a quest for me and then refuse to give it to me unless I install an add-on*.
*Note, this applies to non-game products as well. iOS 6, for example, has Twitter and Facebook entries in its settings, but when going there the only thing present is an install button (unless, of course, the applications are installed). I do get that this is a way of informing the user that the system has some kind of integration with said services, but as someone who has no interest whatsoever of the services, I just find the settings pages extraneous and annoying - show them
IF I have the applications installed, otherwise don't.
