They want HOW MUCH money?
I'm getting the whole nostalgia angle and all, but damn, have some perspective.

The game that taught me english might be coming back? Oh my! Sadly, i still don't have/want a credit card. Then again, they're asking a lot, and judging by how Spud's Quest is doing, i don't think this will end well. Not to mention the KS abuse we're having this year. Kinda sad,that so many developers are blindly rushing to the KS like sperm to an egg.

Simple fact is there are endless indie platformers all over Steam and other stores on the PC. There is no great need for them, no real desire built up. Same with point and click adventures and other such things.

The main kickstarter successes either wanted to bring back a dying/dead genre or had big names you can trust attached to them. This kickstarter has neither.

I'd imagine that pixel-perfect jumping is going to be very difficult in this day and age. ANd yeah, that does seem like a big ask for a game that shouldn't really require THAT much funding.

When you consider that project giana asked only 150k, the sum Dizzy needs feels slightly exaggerated.
