phaolo: If the game will be released here in few hours (or even few days).. you have just chosen a shittier DRM-full version just for.. being impatient? Well done..
...and well said.

citizenx: Hey bonehead, do you see a retail price listed?

If GoG knew the day they would be releasing it for sale, why the hell would they wait until THE day to announce it? All I'm saying is that their business model on little or no info ahead of time is costing them sales. I like GoG and want them to succeed.

They don't need to have pre-orders, just a simple we will offer this game, on this "x" date, at this "x" price would suffice.
So you basically just bought it at the cheapest price right now.

Will the Linux version appear on GOG when Larian will release it and GOG will enable Linux support? I'd buy it on GOG then. Otherwise I'll probably wait for it to appear in the Humble Store.

I think its safe to say, no linux games will show up until GOG actually officially adds Linux support. Just saying :D
The people who want it on gog, will buy it on gog, preorder or not. Those that couldn't give a shit about drm, or want achievements will buy it on steam no matter what.

That's self explanatory (I said explicitly when Larian will release it and GOG will enable Linux support). What I was asking is whether it will be restricted by some deals when GOG will start selling Linux games, or it will be sold here as well. I'd definitely not be interested in buying it on GOG if Linux version is not going to appear here.

What is the retail price on GoG? No info.

I support GoG. More pertinent info and timely relevant info on their part will increase their sales. Simple.

I own games on Steam & GoG, they both work well for me. I can play the EXACT same game purchased on GoG as on Steam. If GoG released more info I would use that info to decide where to buy. I'm encouraging GoG to be more on point, you know CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM.

Same games but, gog you auto get better support, no drm, etc. That's a selling point enough for me.

So basically you supported Steam by buying it there. That's the end result at the end of the day no matter how you put it.
I'm waiting for a release here, just because there was info about it elsewhere (e.g. I dig it from forums here, with a bad search options) - but I'm as always very angry about missing information on the New&Coming tab - mainly for such "big" releases (can't understand why they can prepare game page for some Mousecraft and there is no info for D:OS - IMHO it should be there for a half year at least... )

So IMHO GOG is loosing a lot of sales this way (people don't care about DRM that much, at least not in case of Steam), and with missing information about upcoming big new games there is no future for DRM-free revolution, there is only some minor store for a few DRM-free fanatics, complaining about lack of classic releases...

Can't say I understand this route, especially since it's happening on the official release date. ?_?

Does your link seriously indicate that the game will be available here only when the integration of GOG Galaxy is done?
My GOG.com redemption email said $39.99.

No, it doesn't say that. They said we'd be able to play the multiplayer without it, meaning the game will come out before! Why are people misunderstanding that?

And here they say:
Larian Studios LLC 37 minutes ago

Hey folks, we're expecting the GOG keys to go live tomorrow, sorry for the inconvenience.

Reever:
Why the hazzle? Why did the statement clearly states, that they will "add the game to the "New AND COMING" section of the homepage? Why not clearly write, that the game will be released and will be available in a couple of hours or even tomorrow? This is no misunderstanding.

The only clear statement right now is that Backers will get GOG keys and can download the game here - but not today -maybe tomorrow.

Wow you're a real bright one. Yes I support Steam by buying games they sell. Yes I support GoG by purchasing games they sell. If GoG actually released info on when I could purchase the game from them, and at what price, then I would have considered those options.

Glad you could finally understand my post, I realize you're a little slow. I support GoG, I support Steam. GoG has NOT released relevant info for me to decide if i should purchase from them. GoG is losing sales as a result of their lack of communication.

Look around on the boards at posts. Do you know how to do that? There are many posts on potential customers being confused as to WHEN it will be released here and for how much $. Honestly I could care less what you think. I hope GoG realizes that better communication on their part is better for their business. But don't you worry your little mind about that.
