Crosmando: Fair enough. I just thought that the only way a game can be removed from an account on Steam is if you actually ask support to do it, like above dude said.

Arkeus: And it appears they changed their minds:
As they have way more steam users, you have to use the larian vault to revoke your EA key and exchange it for a GOG one. This way all the people who use steam don't have to do anything.
Yeah I can see:

STEAM ALPHA or STEAM BETA = STEAM FINAL RELEASE

If you have an alpha or beta Steam game, your game will automatically update to the final release. You don't need to do anything.
If you have alpha or beta on Steam but you want the final release on GOG, please come back later to change your Steam key into a GOG key.
When is "later" I wonder... Meh I'll come back in the morning

well, I suppose it should be $39.99
(but some starting discounts may apply)

EDIT: and I can see steam will sell it for 39,99 EUR (more expensive for Europe) but does apply the start-up 20 % discount... which is still more expensive than here on GOG :D

Well, as you can read in the other thread about D:OS, something went wrong with this and they are working to fix it; both me and Dralel wrote to Larian and got the same email reply.

There is only one Problem. Larian and Original Sin were One of the three examples for regional Pricing here - so we will get 39,99€ in Europe... Nice move to have the Game in the Steam Summer Sale with 20% off and no
Preorder Offer here at GOG. There was only one reason not to buy the Game in the Summer Sale. Larian as a Belgium developer tries to screw european customers with regional pricing. So I will wait for a less than 10€ pricetag for the game.
Ohh, good thing you guys figured this out! So it doesn't look like I'll be getting my key today :D

I gave the alpha key away because I didn't need it. It's not really that good of an idea to transform the key to the full game, then xD
Hopefully they'll solve this problem soon.
We'll be adding Divinity: Original Sin to our New&Coming section later tonight. Here's some more info:

citizenx: What will the GoG retail price be for Divinity O.Sin? When will it be available for sale on Gog?

Does GoG business model not give a shit about losing sales to Steam?
avatar
Niggles: People who want it on GOG will buy it on GOG regardless of how much it costs on Steam (either Steam fans or people who want the cheapest price will just buy it there.)
Not true. I wanted to purchase this through Gog, I just bought it on Steam.

If Gog is incapable of posting info on when they will release it for sale and how much it costs, then they will lose sales. They just lost mine. I'm not talking about being able to "pre-order", I just want to know the actual DATE and PRICE they will sell it.

The way it's worded is kind of vague. It doesn't say it will be added to the catalogue, but to the "New & Coming section". Does that mean it will actually be available for purchase, or is that it will be marked as "Soon"?

Great news. Like to hear that GOG Galaxy is more than just few ideas written on paper.
Thanks GOG

Hey bonehead, do you see a retail price listed?

If GoG knew the day they would be releasing it for sale, why the hell would they wait until THE day to announce it? All I'm saying is that their business model on little or no info ahead of time is costing them sales. I like GoG and want them to succeed.

They don't need to have pre-orders, just a simple we will offer this game, on this "x" date, at this "x" price would suffice.

If the game will be released here in few hours (or even few days).. you have just chosen a shittier DRM-full version just for.. being impatient? Well done..

Well then, imo that should be the PRIORITY information that is being shared.

That is indeed true, however.
Maybe they aren't 100% sure..
