Recsam511: Last preorder that I've done: Mass Effect 3. 70 € (I saved money for months)... and after 1 month the game was already discounted at 50%...

I'll probably won't do anymore preorders , at least untill I'll have a work and some cash... Better wait, pay less and have a more optimized product (with patch)

Haha, that was actually the first ever pre-order for me, because I simply loved the series and wanted to play it as soon as possible.

And as for the budget, I have to say that I've only ever bought around 5 games or something for the last decade, that's why I thought I could afford it. And as for Dragon Commander....we'll see, hope it wasn't a mistake :P

I'm in, +1.

In my opinion the only reason to pre-order is if there is some sort of discount or bonus, I've never pre-ordered a game. In part most of my systems have been behind the latest tech so cutting edge new releases haven't always worked. However is very cool of GOG to offer preorders as a gesture to tradition, and give bonuses.

as for preorders,to tell the truth the only games I ever preorder are from Blizzard entertainment,rest companies I find it too much of a risk. Untill now everything I preordered from blizz(almost every game they made after warcraft II :P) I liked it! So the trend continues :P

It takes me a year or more to get around to most games anyway.

I never pre-order because games on pre-order are way too expensive for my wallet. I usually wait a couple of years, until a game is cheap enough. I don't play multiplayer games and I usually use a 2-3 years old laptop, so it works pretty well.

What I really liked were the RPG segments and at least the voice acting is great and I liked the jokes! Just hope I can get through the strategy parts, but I'll just use the easiest difficulty or some cheats if need be. And I'll get the soundtrack and Master of Magic, so it's a good deal anyway!

Game has tickled my curiosity for some time, but I've more pressing things to be tickled by :P

So, I'd like to put in an entry for Recsam, hope that's fine. The caveat, though, is that I don't pre-order stuff. There was a time when I was sorely tempted, but it happened to be just before the rise of sales and bundles. They showed me the light, though I've found it's a poor substitute for daylight :P

And last, but not least, many thanks for the awesome gift, Reever!

My partner and I have preordered a ton of games this year...and we usually preorder when it's something we really want. We backed Divinity: Original Sin and preordered Shadowrun Returns (and we want to preorder Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny (remake) if it comes on GOG before release). A lot of preorders have discounts attached, so it's often a good idea...

Yeah, got not problem with it, as long as there are not more than 2 people entering for the same person! (otherwise it's unfair, I think...).

Well, from what I've seen from the Larian guys, they are pretty fun and capable. Have yet to play their Divinity Series, but I think I'll like their games and Dragon Commander's RPG portions do seem pretty fun.

So I an glad to be able to support them :)
