Have to say it is looking reasonably good so far.

I suspect it's also the coolest game name of all times.

I liked the latest trailer if only because of the "Revenge solves everything" tagline :)

Though in all seriousness I could do with more games like Thief and Deus Ex, so I hope this is a good one.

Quakecon 2012 starts today and dishonored will be on the showfloor, strange that this game is not being talked much while it is shaping up to be one of the best games of this year. IMHO hey are focusing too much on assassinations in the trailers while I would rather play completely non-lethal à la my beloved Thief trilogy of games and Deux Ex.

Also: Doom 3 BFG edition and the Oculus VR glasses, want more info on that. And probably this will take the spot that would be occupied by Doom 4, which id promised to show 2 or 3 times already but did not comitted to. I fucking need a Doom 4 trailer. =/

Sounds nice, but bullet time? Ugh. I loved the dumpster thing, i used to that in Thief, though the stupid guards always died when i threw them into the sewer.

I'm not watching anything of this game, was sold on it months ago. Will be the first thing I do in January when I get back from my second semester overseas.

My thoughts exactly.

I didn't really think about it to start with, but I always used to research a game as much as possible before I played it (like Crysis, Bulletstorm, COD etc.) but I always wondered why I wasn't enjoying them as much as I had when I played diffrerent ones a while ago. Now ofc I now it was when I played the older ones, I never had an internet connection so I just played it.

Now that I know that I do not research it more than what type of game it is, but I think it is a bit late now.

So, I stopped caring about Dishonored right at the end of the "same old engine-stab-stab-stab" trailer, and now it's supposed to be a big thing? Why? What's there aside from funky clock towers and every kill being the takedown from DXHR and Skyrim?

Not to mention System Shock...

When the Steam store page for this first went up yesterday, it mentioned Japanese as a language. I see today, that's now gone. I sure hope this won't be another Skyrim fiasco!

That said though, I'm pleasantly surprised to see it available for pre-purchase here (currently at the same price as in the US) given it's not available in the UK or Australia over Steam.

But I won't be buying just yet. Not only are there other games I want to spend money on that get released sooner, but I expect it's best to wait until Beth JP can confirm that it'll be uncut.

They've already confirmed that Japan will get the English language version of DOOM 3 BFG. Asides for a few problems (like the aforementioned Skyrim fiasco), Beth JP are fast becoming one of the better local publishers, actually listening to their customers for once.

After watching the E3 Playthrough (and then Part 2), I have to say that I am pretty impressed with both the art style and the imaginative gameplay design. If it's as open-ended as they are promising, I think this could turn out to be a stellar game.

That being said, I'm not going to go ahead and jump out of my shoes for it either. It's on my radar, but I want to actually play it myself before I go ahead and pour on the adulation.
