The third game got announced today. So let's sum it up: DiRT 3, WRC 2010, F1 2010, rFactor 2, and then GRID 2 next year?! Phew...

Looks like the Codies have learned to focus on what they do best. Their efforts in non-driving games have been a bit hit and miss. Which isn't helped by their refusal to patch their games under any circumstances.

So bloody true. Dirt, Dirt 2, GRID all about 2 patches away from true greatness. The PC is certainly an afterthought to them.

Some of their non-driving games are more like 15 patches away from pretty goodness though. That's why I never got Dragon Rising, even when it was incredibly cheap. I tried a demo of it and no matter what I tried I had no way of closing inventory screens.
How the hell such an elementary bug made it into the demo I'll never know. But what I do know is that I could never trust them to actually patch that problem out.
