Anyone know of any? I want to make this game I just bought (Arabian Nights) think it's using Direct-X 8.1 because it keeps crashing. It loads fine on my other PC with XP so it has to be a combo of Vista and Direct-X.
3D Analyzer: Doesn't work, made for older video cards to emulate new Direct-X functions.
Well, you could always try VirtualBox. VirtualBox is a virtual machine that allows you to run an OS within your current OS. Because you literally have to install Windows within the VM you will need an XP install disc and valid license to use this. It won't necessarily work with this particular game but I've had good results getting troublesome games working with it.

Alright thanks, I'll give it a go.
Well, if you have a GeForce card you could give a try to RivaTuner. It's a tweaking utility not an emulator, but you could use it to fine tune the system to make the game run....
