Trying to get hold of digital copies of Godfather and Godfather II on any digital distribution service.. preferably codes that could be activated on Steam.. So if anyone knows where to get them please share your knowledge.. Thanks!

Godfather games are no longer being sold. You may try buying them on retail, retail copy of Godfather 2 activates on Origin.

Thanks I understand that... will go for that for godfather 2.. but there is no retail copy of godfather available... that is why I am looking for online retailers that would provide codes that could be activated on steam or origin

You can buy sealed copies of GF2 on ebay. I think it's the only way now.

What keeveek said, plus it doesn't run well on Windows 7. You'll have to delete all of the videos, which deprives you of some of the cutscenes, or else the game will crash.

You're welcome, mate. This problem is common to all games based on movies / literature. If you can't buy it first hand anymore, it really doesn't hurt anybody, if you pirate the game.

Especially when Godfather 1 is a better game than 2... Although 2 has some nice features...

Oh, one final tip: play these games only if you have nothing against beating the shit out of the virtual women, because you will do that... a lot :P

Yeah I have heard that Godfather 1 is better than 2... heck its a game not the real thing so no biggie...

Sadly, in these cases, I´m with the pirate option. For example, has been impossible buy the Sid Meier's Railroads. Trying do it since 2009 and in last month I give up and went through Pirate Bay.
