Hey everyone,

Sorry if this has already been addressed, but is there a reason the newest games and some old ones have a different style icon than they used to?

Meaning, Freespace 2 used to have the icon that looked like the one on my shelf. Rectangular, like the front of a box. Now it is a round icon. I believe a few other games are like this as well. I know an icon is the least of our worries when it comes to gaming, but almost every GOG game I own I have installed and I keep in a folder, and the icon change messes with the flow of my system. lol.

Is there a way I can get the other icon again?
I have the same problem as you.
As far as I know all games on GOG will be updated to the new icons and I dont know of a way to get the old ones back.
In my oppinion it would be better if GOG would let us choose wich icon we eant to use.

I have also started a thread for this issue:

I noticed this as well, but I think I like the new icons.
