Yes, I have the same problem. It worked fine yesterday.
The Debian system it's running on appears to have been totally buggered by an update.

And as I don't know how to reinstall everything and get the server back to a "functional" state after wiping it, there's basically nothing I can do to fix it at this time. I'll probably just have to shut the server down.

So yeah, it's not going to be running anytime in the near future I guess.

Sorry.

I'm very sad to hear that, Bansama. Is the site data itself okay? Can you back everything up, in order to bring it back at a later date?
I have a local copy of the data and databases, but I can't guarantee anything.

Smannesman: On a fresh install?
No, haven't started that yet. Won't really have time to do so till tomorrow afternoon.

Oh, I thought by "near future" you meant the next couple of months.
Well that sucks , hopefully bansama you'll be able to get the site running again because i always though it was a cool site.

It might well be that long. I couldn't sleep so I tried a fresh Debian setup. Got my CP back, but the FTP and Database stuff I use are refusing to work. So I have an empty server with a functioning (I guess) CP, but can't do anything else with it.

I'm sure someone here with more knowledge of these issues than me would be happy to help you.

I fear that he'd have to be a bit more specific in order to receive help though :p
